My ideas

I have some ideas for the translation of ToD2.

1.Rename the skills by 1(how they are in the other tales games 2(using the meaning of the skill as a starting point(like for Souhajin name it like Desco Blade or Green Lotus because the meaning of Souhajin is Green Destruction Sword and Green Destruction Pursuit Lotus)

2.For names that were in ToD keep them.

3.To avoid religion complaints rename Judas something like Jude or Judd(since Judas was the one who betrayed Jesus)

those are my ideas.What do you think?

1) There are virtually no skills in ToD2 that have been in other Tales games. It's all completely new except for the appearance of some summon spirits. The naming is all up to Cless in the end. The skills that are in katakana that translates to English will be directly translated and kept as such. The skills in kanji will probably have to have something made up like DeJap did. Directly translating them is too wordy for English, and to alter them can weird things up... I trust Cless will think of something.

2) Town names and etc that were in ToD will probably be kept. It just makes sense.

3) That was the point of naming him Judas, since he betrayed the orignal Destiny party. It would ruin a lot of things if his name was to be changed. It's not like Stahn is being called Jesus, that would be over the line. Judas will most likely be kept as is.

Edit: I woke up today and realized that number 3 is a spoiler... Cless, what are the hex values for the two background colors?
