The patch is being made for THE ORIGINAL JAPANESE VERSION, with the black label packaging, and most likely will not work on any other language versions, and the Megahits/PlayStation 2 The Best budget label re-releases. I have heard there were differences in the budget label versions (and I don't know what they are, so don't ask). If I had access to the re-releases I'd probably port the patch to them, but I don't.

I have the Mega Hits version, so is there a way I can send you files off it, or would that not be good enough anyway?

I can't test myself to see whether the patch works because I don't have a modded PS2.

These should be the CRCs of all the files on the regular/original release version.

If you get a CRC/SFV tool and do a scan of the files on the disc, you should get something like this.

I just use a tool called "QuickSFV" that can scan files, folders and drives and create these for me, so if you have a different version of ToD2 than the regular, get an SFV tool, make a SFV file of the contents on the disc and post it here or something so it can quickly be seen what (if there are any) files that are different and if there's any reason to be worried at all

If Mega Hits(or PS2 the best) is(are) different, what I'd really need is to physically borrow the disc, through postal mail or something (I'd send it back the very next day). That way I can make patches with an exact, proven copy.

I'm bending my own rules here but a verified ISO made from someone's own original disc would also do fine. But I dunno if anyone wants to upload that big of a file.

I'd be willing to upload my TODII ISO, but I dont know what to use to do so,
and doubt that Megaupload or Fileshare can handle that big enough file.........

Pretty sure you could set up a torrent somewhere, though that'd be a pretty long and painful process.

There's also FTP, which I think is the most practical for something like this.

But anyway, I'm only interested if it's a pure, unmodified copy from an original Megahits/PS2 The Best disc in your collection (not downloaded from somewhere else).

Hmm, speaking of budget rereleases... I think you said it before, but I forgot. The patch for ToP-PS1 will work for both the original and PlayStation the Best versions, right? I think you said it would but I don't remember clearly.
