I'm sure this font looks familiar...









It could use some more touching up as the insertion isn't perfect. But ToD2's font resolution is lower than ToS's so it doesn't really look as sharp.

Anyway, I have an odd fascination with this font. I don't know why. I wasn't really intending to replace it officially with the one I've been using. I guess if people really really REALLY want it I can touch it up and offer it as an option.

It almost escaped me but I ended up remembering it's Tales of Symphonia's NA version's font.

It looks nice and I'm not stopping you if you decide to use it.  Then again, I know there's going to be some objections here.

I like this font. It adds some personality to ToD2's extremely simple menus. I'd rather see it used instead of the other one (which is okay BTW), but I don't think many other people will want it. Sad

I might clean it up then. I can say that this one undisputedly looks better when it comes to displaying things in large sizes though.

I'm not dropping the other font though, and it's still the "official" one for the project. It's still believe it's easier to read on SDTVs when the size is small.

I'm not sure of the significance but there was that thing on the game disc about the font being developed by DynaComware. I'm not even sure if it meant the fonts in the game (though it probably does since it's on the disc itself). I don't know how much it means since it doesn't specifically mention copyright.

yeah, the font looks amazing at larger sizes. at the smaller sizes, it could be really hard to read on SDTVs.

how about ToDR's font, or ToA's font?

No.. that was a horrible font with small words (shruggles at mushroom road written on the world map) I prefer thousands times better the ToDr/ToS/the official

I really like the way this font looks more then that really bold plain font you have now. If you really wanna use you should check to see if there will be any legal repercussions. (I can't believe I spelled repercussions correctly with out the help of spell check )
