A Question of Playing

I am going to be ordering the stuff to mod my ps2 on the 10th, and I am wondering something.  If I use the menu patch with the game, and use GameFAQ's to get the basic idea for the story, is it menu patch good for the whole game?  Naturally, it's only to get a temporary "fix" until you can finish, but I'm such a sucker for Leon/Judas I really can't wait to play through the game.

I'm behind Phantasian Productions 100% and if there's anything I can do to help, I'll be more than happy.  So it's with complete respect for what you're doing that I ask this.

The menu patch should cover your basic menu needs from start to end of the game.

Using an accompanying story/scenario guide to keep yourself on top of things should bring you safely from one side to the other, without having to consult a secondary guide for item/equipment/location stuff all the time, but you might not have the most enjoyable experience in the world doing it that way. But it is a viable solution if you can't wait much longer.

Thank you very much.  I mean, it's only for now, till the full translation comes out.  It's better than me playing Tales of Vs and not having a single clue what ANY of the menus mean.

Yeah, unlike the ToP demo patch there's no limitations, you can do as many playthroughs as you want.

There's some stuff that isn't patched yet (enchant, very few), but it's still great for a menu patch. Once you start using rune bottles and stuff, you'll see how useful it is.

Believe me, I appreciate it alot.  I'm hoping I have better luck burning the ToD2 than I do with ToD 1.  I'm ruining all my blank cd's... *sighs*
