A few questions for a project I'm working on

Hi, I'm working on a text translation of ToD2 (Like the Rebirth and Abyss ones, though those aren't mine) and I have a few continuity questions.

1) In ToD1us, Atamoni was a goddess (As opposed to a god,) right? I'm trying to keep the US continuity, so I may be changing Elraine's constant "God" references to "Our goddess: if Atamoni was a goddess.

2) What was Snowfilia called in the US version again?

I'm sure I'll have more questions to be answered as I go on, and I'll ask them here.

A lot of people us "God" so go ahead  and use it. Are you making a FAQ translation? Or actually hacking the game?

Just a text translation. But if certain people wanted the script for other purposes, how could I say no?

I can't remember if Atamoni was even actually in the original Japanese version of ToD1, but if it helps, it's Inomata backwards; As in Inomata Mutsumi, a Tales artist, whom I think is a woman... Can't remember correctly.

Snowfria (スノーフリア) was called Frostheim in the US version of ToD1.

I'm really fuzzy on this, but wasn't the diety in ToD2 a goddess anyway? Not sure if that's the same one the Atamoni people worship, but I thought it was.

Yes, the deity was a goddess, but she was consistantly referred to as "God." Also, Atamoni is in ToD2, as in the "Church of Atamoni," but for some reason the goddess that comes out of it isn't named Atamoni.

Another question. How exactly did the US version spell "Straylize?"

2) I installed a new video card driver today, and bow my tv tuner card overlay stopped working. If I can't get that working, "what I have" will be "all there is."
No one here would happen to know why I can't get overlay working on my ATI Radeon 7000 with the newest drivers, would they?

Edit: Found a fix, have to turn graphical hardware acceleration down whenever I want to play ps2. DScaler doesnt work anymore, but I can use my TV Tuner Card's native application.

I just started playing this game recently and though I actually understood quite abit of what was being said I didn't really understand a few parts so this is great.

Keep up the work! You're doing a great task for us english speaking folks that don't know advanced Japanese/no Japanese at all.

Question. Why do you need a TV input card in your computer to complete this project? Wouldn't you still be able to do it with just a normal TV?

Well, I find it much easier just getting everythiong off my monitor, and with some text boxes it ayutomatically scrolls, and im not that fast at japanese reading, so i need the screenshot capability.
