In one of my posts in the last news thread, I mentioned we were interested in having an additional editor take a look at the script. I didn't actually expect to anyone to bite, but...Sirius9 expressed interest. I sent her a couple files and was quite pleased with the majority of her suggestions.

I'm pretty sure I've said this before, but I'm stupidly OCD about how the script is going to turn out. Though I've generally been pretty satisfied with most of it, I can never shake that feeling that many lines can be expressed even better. Many of Sirius' (and nusakan's) edits have reinforced that line of thought. One day, I'm going to have to bite the bullet and just release the damn thing instead of stew over it. haha

Anyways, one of the main problems is Mint. She is SO difficult for us to get right. Her personality type is very simplistic and we don't want to overstep its bounds. I feel a large portion of her lines at this time just don't...seem right. A bit stiff, perhaps a bit too lacking in emotion...just not enough personality in them. Many attempts to flesh out her dialogue end in failure. Sirius has some pretty good basic ideas, so let's hope this'll become less of an issue soon.

Don't listen to him guys.  I am total fail as an editor.  Thus far I haven't been able to work even one reference to Much Ado About Nothing into Klarth and Mirald's interactions even though it should be sooo easy...  Grin
