It F@#$ing sucks.... They took everything that the sonic adventure games made and destroyed it... Its like the franchise was getting higher, and higher and higher with adventure 1 & 2 for dreamcast which were pretty good sonic games and now, it has fallen... Prepare to see sonic go the way of the DoDo with this next blackknight installent lol... I was hoping that maybe one day sega would get back on its feet and create a new system so they can stop whoring out sonic but I guess I'm wrong... Masterchief, Mario, and sackboy, its up to u now to show sega how a real mascot's games don't suck lol..

Very informative maybe you should, I dunno? Explain exactly what its bad? Instead of throwing a bunch of garbage that's difficult to decipher.

Anyway, yeah werehog parts are terrible (Even terrible is too kind to describe them) but the hedgehog parts are pretty good. Its defintely an improvement over Sonic '06, that's for sure! Music is definitely weaker than most Sonic games which a bit of a shame.

Also for your sake if you're considering on getting it avoid the Wii/PS2 versions. They are terrible... nothing but 7 hour Werehog levels and like only 1 minute Hedgehog levels. Horrid.

I haven't played the werehog parts, but the speed level in the demo was awful. The controls were terrible, the camera wasn't very helpful, the level felt claustrophobic, and I hated the shifting between 2D and 3D. Maybe it's because I had higher expectations for this game, but somehow the Unleashed demo to me felt worse than Sonic 2K6.

I have played the demo to the game and...it didn't make me want to hurt myself.  While I already have criticism on its controls and the 2D to 3D transitions, yeah, I didn't want to hurt myself after playing it.

However, since I did not see any were-hog levels in the demo, this is why I still need to look at the retail version of the game.  Since I'm actually hearing the Wii version of the game is getting seriously better reviews than the 360/PS3 versions, I'm also left with skepticism on the quality of the game, including compared to the different versions.  So I am planning to hurt myself with both the 360 version of the game and the Wii version and see for myself.

Oh and I'm not listening to any Sonic fanboys in regard to this game.

Alright....

Looks like spaceworlder summed up why its so awful for me... The thing is with the 2k6 version, the levels were still somewhat fun, but it had such serious problems (Loading, the world map, the speed parts, the story lol ect.) that I hated it but this unleashed game's gameplay was just horrible with the funky controls and the transition from 2d to 3d... you'd have to be on speed or cocaine to be able to keep up with whats going on in the game lol... and when did sonic need to have all those buttons for different moves?? sonic only needs 2 buttons, hell, he only needs 1... all sonic needs to do is jump, spin dash attack and his missle homer attack, but they got him sliding all over the place and all other types of garbage... its killing me lol.. if they want to revive sonic then they have to stop listening to ign's remarks that sonic is about speed because sonic is a PLATFORMER game who's main character happens to run very fast... U didn't see nintendo turning mario into a plumbing game cuz he's a plumber once he transitioned into 3d and we shouldn't be seeing sonic become some sort of god awful racing/ speed type game either... I wonder if the people who make these games even play their pieces of crap...

I thought those all-caps posts and rambling tirades seemed familiar...

Indeed. He was really beginning to get on my nerves. His pattern finally clicked and I confirmed it. Yay for intuition. Boo for it taking two months to realize it. What I find amazing is that after all this he never figured out that nobody wants him here!

I guess the place will quiet down a little more without him, but I can't really say it's a big loss, especially in the long run.

Thanks god we have you cless, this dude was getting on my nerves too  Roll Eyes

At any rate, on-topic (though I dunno how should we consider this topic...) I really enjoyed my Sonic Unleashed PS2, really a good experience, the day stages are so much epic speed that its too hard to describe

And he tried to circumvent it yet again. His registration didn't go through; his new account wasn't activated. He did it from another machine to get past the IP ban. He even read this topic before trying to register (yay for logs). Either he still hasn't gotten a clue, or he's just a damn troll.
