The Play-Asia coupon topic

I'm thinking of pre-ordering Tales of Destiny remake in a few days or so and I wanted to know something: is it possible to use a coupon for preordering a game, even if the coupon will be outdated when the game will actually ship?

(Oh and off-topic, what do you think is the quickiest shipping method? I usually choose the cheapest method, but this time I could do some effort)

Yes. If it allows you to apply the coupon, it obviously applies to the order even if it ends up shipping a year from now. Once you place the order, you get a receipt. They then can't raise the price on you afterwards because you have a receipt of the price they agreed to sell it to you at.

When do you plan to order it? There's nothing on the import horizon for me after I get Tales of Destiny so I'll have a coupon that'll need a good home. If you can wait until the end of November, it's yours.

Cless, I have one that dies on the 18th. I can give it to you if you promise to give me the one you get in return. I'm buying a 42" plasma TV this weekend and I'd like to get another game and controller with my Wii (which is already paid for with Zelda Extreme).. and well.. it might just be a better idea if I hold off on buying Destiny until my next paycheck after all that. Let me know (or anybody else for that matter if Cless already got his).

I've got one to offer as well.  I won't be able to use it.  It's good until January 4th, 2007.  I don't expect I'll need it.  I'll also have another one coming in with ToD (which is still a little ways off) that I won't be able to use.  While I'd like to trade, I'm perfectly willing just to just give it away.  So let me know if anyone wants one.

Thank you, Elazul, but I'll have to be an ungrateful bastard and not take you up on it. Because Play-Asia is being even more of a bastard by pricing the game at 59.90. =/
(Just in case your wondering, the asian version ships sooner, so I'd prefer that one)
