I've got my eye on this. Hopefully we'll see some sort of English trailer at E3.

This and Xenoblade are going to look ridiculous in Dolphin. I only wish this game was as vibrant and colorful as the concept art is.

10 bucks says 80% of the party is mages (please don't take me seriously). That said, hey, it's an RPG. I'll probably play it.

I'm waiting to find out more about the gameplay - most specifically, battles, before deciding my interest level for this one. I've completely lost interest in anything remotely similar to turn based. If every action is chosen from a menu and not done through button (and, since it's wii, motion sensor) combinations, then I'm not interested.

I think you'll enjoy this, just got around to uploading

Rest of them are interlinked.
I could've sworn I took one of the orange-y evening stage in the town, but I guess not.
Beautiful game.

Not to derail this thread, but I just feel like asking why on earth people keep using imagevenue.com for imagehosting.
Every time I click on that link, I get a billion blocked pop-ups + a strange LiveJasmin.com web-cam stream ad pop-up (that somehow sneaks past everything else that's being blocked) and so on... It's horrifyingly ad-filled (with porn ads, even. Just to make it even more awesome). Did I miss some weird thing where imageshack, tinyurl, pici, photobucket, etc. all were rendered inferior, unwelcome and worthless compared to imagevenue?
Just curious...

I've seen no ads or pop-ups whatsoever, but then I'm guessing getting past my Adblock Plus/NoScript/Flashblock/Ghostery gauntlet is easier said than done.

I remember when I tried using photobucket a while back, I couldn't upload 1920x1080 files without them being horribly resized. Clearly, that's changed. I don't see any ads on imagevenue either (I also have noscript, adblock plus, etc.) Though now that this is no longer an issue I'm going to go ahead and switch to something that isn't (apparently?) full of ads.
Anyway, back on topic. The music for Last Story is shaping up to be fantastic, imo

A little too much repetition and not enough variation in that melody (and an odd choice of harmony), methinks, but it's beautiful nonetheless

There's a longer version of the theme from the main site on one of the blog entries:
Here
(It really sounds like some strange hybrid of some of the recent Uematsu stuff with a slight dose of Joe Hisaishi)

Listening to it again, I feel like it's a good main theme, but that just makes me worry more about what the rest of the game's music is going to be like.
But yeah, the instrumentation choice is really, really odd.. there's the violin, the plucked strings, and that flute, and then the sudden change to the almost church organ-y sound
granted I think all of it except for the flute + violin were done on an expensive keyboard, but still.
I've heard a few other tracks here and there, but they were all kind of by the books. Have you seen any similarly baffling tracks so far?

I really like what I've heard so far. Brings to mind the sort of surprises Uematsu would toss us fan's during his prime.
But then I think that Dancing Mad is by far the best music Uematsu ever composed, and it seems I'm in a minority opinion on that count, so my musical opinion is probably fairly unique.
I'm still waiting to hear more about the battle system and other elements of gameplay though. that's what's gunna make the difference for me.

New scans. Good god, I think those gorgeous shots are actually in game.
The artwork is also delightful.
