The official website (http://www.smashbros.com) relaunched yesterday, but people who have been closely following would have already known. They're going to be updating EVERY weekday so that's pretty kewl. Today's update shows the Gooey Bomb item, which looks pretty interesting. Reminds me of the effect of sticky grenades in Halo.

Anyway, one of the biggest things worth mentioning is the lengthy list of composers they have on board including Motoi Sakuraba. As if hearing the new theme song by Nobuo Uematsu before the site update wasn't enough (strangely he's not listed in the musician's page), they have a sample of the new Battlefield's stage music, a version of SSBM's menu theme arranged by Sakuraba.

Clearly, if Smash Bros. Brawl doesn't have the best soundtrack ever, something's definitely wrong.

Though Melee's was primarily classic remixes, it was mega awesome. I expect Brawl to top it.

I dont know man, the megaman 2 soundtracks are still pretty badass in my book, As well as the megaman netnavi world music (game version)

The only thing really keeping them tied would have to be the dream world theme, that has to be the BEST music EVER!
