Some one please tell me the logic behind this.

     Ok so two great games are going multi platform That I would love to play. The first is the new prince of Persia game and the other is disgaea 3. PoP is coming out for four systems: PS3, X360 and... wait for it...w-a-i-t for it! The DS! now Disgaea 3 is coming out for the ps3 and... The DS! Sounds great right? Well as you may have guessed there is just one system missing. Stumped? Well it rhymes with Pee. Still nothing coming to mind? I guess I'll tell you. It's the WII! My question is why? I can kinda understand disgaea but not Pop. Do these developers hate the Wii? It's sold more then X360 and PS3. Yes the DS has sold more units world wide then the wii. This still doesn't explain it though.

     Pop has to make a down graded version graphically for the ds. They'd have to do it for the wii too but not as much as the DS. The wii also has just as many buttons on the wiimote and an anolog stick with the nunchuck. Do they want to do something innovative with the ds touch screen? Why not do something innovative with the motion controls? I don't understand. On to Disgaea 3 now. What can I say? They used low res sprites and put the game on the ps3. This wasn't a limitation because they're putting the entire same game on the ds. Again, Why bother with the ps3? Why not make it just for the portable platforms? Why not put it on the wii? this game can easily go on the psp as well.

     Does all this make sense to you? Is there something I'm missing? I wouldn't be as mad if these were exclusives for hd consoles. But they're going on the ds! By the way I only own a wii and psp right now. Yes I do post in forums on games I don't have the consoles for as if I did. This is because I like to critique the games as if I my self was a consumer with the console. I also like to talk about games. So if you can all make sense of this for me please do.

Edit I just did some deeper research on the disgaea thing for the ds. Ya... Apparently it's a remake of the first game and not a port for digaea 3. Don't go to game trailers for video game news. They actually put all the disgaea 3 trailers and videos in the disgaea ds section. I have a funny feeling this was a joke on the graphics. I'm still mad about the prince of persia situation though.

EDIT 2: For f***s sakes game trailers sucks really. They can't get anything right! Apparently the prince of persia game for the ds isn't a port for pop4 either. It's an entirely different game... If only I could delete this post now. I know I'm gonna delete gametrailers of my bookmarks. Google is my only friend.
