Has anyone EVER seen one?....

Im assuming you mean nintendo gamecube. If so there is something called freeloader which bypasses region protection

the Freeloader's been around for years. It was made by the GS people.
it's real easy to use to. Just put it in, turn system on, wait for it to tell ya to swap disk, do it (no slide-card or whatever needed), close door, PRESTO!

Here in Brasil, I've seen NGC owners talking about modchips like "Xeno" and "Qoob" quite a few times. o_o
But I never had interest in buying one, so I don't know any details about that.

There are modchips that pair with case mods to allow full-size DVDs to fit in the drive. Otherwise you have to use mini-DVDs. There's also the old methods of using Phantasy Star Online or Action Replay with the homebrew booting function and a broadband adapter to stream programs from a computer.
What I haven't been able to find is any modification for a Panasonic Q.

Probably not the type of modification I'm thinking of though. The Panasonic Q I got through Play-Asia was premodified to be regionless for games and video DVDs (have to pick a game region at startup by holding the button or not, but DVDs work without any special change). What the GameCube modchips do is enable use of burned games, while the region unlock still makes the console do the region check so is only good for imports. If anyone does translation patches for GCN games, it's kind of hard to use them without such a modification.

So in short what would you need to have GC that you can use regionless, burned cheap DVDs? How much would it cost??

Well damn...Because I have been looking alllll across the net for a legitimate seller of NGC modchips or at least a swap disc.
as for the PSU method, I dont have a GBA or a cable to do that one...Considering gamecubes are 30$ I was gunna just mod it with a chip, not like I would lose much in the event of phail

Ah, my mistake, that's probably what I saw.
The Panasonic Q's pretty rare, isn't it? I guess it's not too surprising there's not modchips for it if there's a limited quantity of them (less likely for people to mess with it) and the fact that there isn't much demand for GC games.
And just wondering, are there any GCN game hacks out there? Besides just slightly modifying code with an AR I mean...
