What are some good multiplayer fighter type games for it?  I know that Soul Calibur IV is definitely on my list, anything else I should think about picking up?

As for RPGs, I'm obviously going to hunt down a copy of Vesperia for as cheap as I can possibly find it, and I think I'm gunna get Fable2, I already have SO4...  any others I should look at?

NTSC-USA games only, I'm not going to mod my console.

Blazblue seems to be quite highly rated...at least it's apparently far better than the disaster KoFXII was.

As for Vesperia...you missed the boat on that one. The time to get it was Black Friday weekend. It's out of print and out of stock everywhere, and the price in second-hand markets is now around the original MSRP if you want it sealed new.

Soul Calibur VI
Tekken 6
Street Fighter IV (though, Super Street Fighter IV is right around the corner)
Virtua Fighter 5 (if you love the technical stuff)

XBLA's also filled with a good pile
Marvel vs Capcom 2's a must have, I guess
Street Fighter II
Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is another sure winner, I guess.

There's also Mortal Kombat 3 + a couple of SNK titles (Samurai Spirits, King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Macth, Garou - Mark of the Wolf)

Probably a good pile of stuff I'm not remembering right now...

I highly recommend Garou: Mark of the Wolves. Also, Street Fighter Anniversary Collection for the original Xbox is backward compatible, 3rd Strike being the main point of getting it since it hasn't been re-released on XBLA. Better game than sf4 I say.

dragon age: orgins is pretty good game, although i didn't really like how they did the combat system (however it was better than being turn base), and the in game dialog between the characters is sometimes funny.  and fallout 3 is still a good game.

Blimey! So many numbers in my head while writing that! It was supposed to be a 5, but Tekken 6 and Street Fighter IV ruined it!

I just managed to nab it brand-new for only 36 bucks...  yay ebay lurking.

next game purchase will be Soul Caliber IV whenever I have enough spare ^^
