I can only visualize it slipping from Wii Bowling... With an underhand throw, if you were to let go, the wrist strap may slip from your arm from the motion... I can't really picture it with anything else.

That seems to be the game that it's breaking on most.  I know that they were playing it when my brother's Wiimote broke.  But there was no slipping involved, the strap connecting the wristband to the Wiimote just snapped.  Which means he must have lost his grip on the Wiimote, but I still don't see why someone would be swinging it that hard in the first place.  It really doesn't require THAT much force.

The only way I see the wriststrap breaking is if it was tied on too tight and eventually the material snapped from being stretched into that position or something... as for letting it fly from your hand... maybe Wii Tennis... but you wouldn't let go of a tennis racket when swinging in real life, why do it with a controller? You could probably drag the rubber grip thing into this, but still, the game is not an absolutely complete, comprehensive simulation so it doesn't need you power swinging...

Does the grip fit pretty comfortably over the controller, or does it make it more difficult to use?  I'd hope not, but you never know...

It makes the Home button a little harder to press, since it's already recessed into the controller. Otherwise, the buttons stick up enough through it.
