Well, since this is kind of a forum that should be sympathetic with PSone game translations and is someone who we know already for having worked on the ToP translation that got out close to Christmas a few months back...

Persona 2: Innocent Sin is getting translated into English, finally Smiley

Here's the blog entry with screenshots and the like:

And some images:

I searched for a thread for this one (while thinking it couldn't pass on this forum without me seeing it) but since I didn't find it... I took the liberty upon myself.

Ohh, I knew about his project. Last time I heard something about it, it was stalled due to the lack of a translator, though. Glad to see it's back up and running.

Hmmm... no no.. you are reffering to the Oracle of Maiya translation:

This one is not related, I think Gemini is working on it alone therefore he was never looking for a translator, or applied as one.

No, I'm not. I saw it on a reference to this project on a forum where Gemini had also posted the link to the ToP translation he and throughhim made, and it said that the project had been stalled due to the lack of a translator.

Oh, I see.

I was thinking Gemini to be the translator but now that you mention it throughhim WAS the translator for ToP wasn't he? Sorry for misunderstanding.

Anyway... then who's the translator?

Shivalva is in charge for the dialogue translation, while a couple other translators and I are working on menus and shops. I'm also using part of the Eternal Punishment translation.

cheers Grin

Thanks for the information, I'll be eagerly waiting for the final translation (and checking on how's it going) so I'd like to thank you beforehand for all the effort you and the people involved are pulling there, it's looking to be great, and with the standard of a real official translation.

Can't wait, can't wait  Cheesy
