This game managed to hit Game of the Month in EGM, above other games such as Pokemon, Tomb Raider, and Ninja Gaiden. A rare display of a niche game ranking above mainstream titles.

Still gotta play, but I just love Etrian Odyssey so much that I'm having a hard time breaking away from it.

I've been playing it ever since it came out.

It is really good, too bad you can't pick which stories to play, you unlock other character's stories, after you have completed each one of them.

Voice acting is great in dubs and subs, music is good too.

This may have to be one of the Very few games I have to buy....Iv come across 6 different corrupt ISO`s so far...

NOTICE TO ANYONE READING THIS: In no way is the term ISO or any of my actions involving them related to SMF and Tales-Cless.org, I assume full responsiability for my actions under the pretence that i am warranted and caught with them at some point in my life. Tales-Clesss.org does not condome my behaviour or have any responsiability for my actions as they are too busy to care about a low-life like me. thank you and have a nice day.  (there, now noone can complain about me talking about it <_<)

Good, buy the game and give the developer/publisher money. You pirate all your PS2 games..? I think it's okay to do stuff like that for really old games which you can't actually find anymore (i.e. SNES/PS1 games) where buying from another person off of Ebay/Amazon wouldn't give the publisher/developer money.... But for new games? O_o Evil pirate! Ninja are certainly better. Also, you may want to erm, not admit to piracy in forums like these, it could get Cless in twouble! That's not bueno, not bueno at all.

Erm, on a less piratastic/spanish note...If someone has played the game, I'd like to know if it has a generally likable atmosphere and a good amount of people to talk to, as well as a good translation. After playing Magical Starsign, I want more RPGs with good/funny dialogue. That game had so many funny/well done moments, it made up for how shallow the combat was. Strangely, I'm debating whether to buy Odin Sphere or Hoshigami Remix, which is supposedly not very good. I think I just have too many RPGs to play (Tales of the Tempest, Enchanted Arms, Wild Arms 4, Shadow Hearts 2, Grandia 3, Seiken Densetsu 3, Super Mario RPG, Super Paper Mario, and a few more I don't remember. X_X) and I want a change of pace, which a strategy RPG will hopefully give to me.

Odin sphere isn;t so much of an RPG as a beat-em-up style game. The story is dramatic, but curt, using only a few sessions of dialogue and a few people to talk to between action stages that make up the bulk of the game.

Well my first impressin is WOW looks awesome. graphic is really good for eye hand drawn 2d style Oh Yessss

I was sure that it will be a button mashing for the most part of the game but you actually need some strategy on boss fights or when the enemies are many in numbers  Cheesy

Still it is hard to get use to LV in this game. Weapon LV is fun like in Onimusha but eating fruits to get bigger LV still making me difficult to get use to it Wink Wink Wink

And one problem for me at last is that you can't change button configuration Angry Angry why there is no such option in that game awww...

TO: Panda_Samurai (YES I like more 2d than 3d games love Old School style)

I still getting amazed by that game I now playing as Mercedes fairy princess and I'm surprised how diffrent is to play diffrent character. It is fun to teach how to control others char. they got theire own skills and style. Smiley

As for now one big problem is that, when (not in all) fighting boss battles the FPS frame rate is terrible low (on my eyes) about 5fps. How is that possible ATLUS HOW.

But it is just a minor problem for me anyways Smiley) but it HURTS

Today I'll will finish it for sure:))

I already got 38 hours of game play it is long (actually it takes me longer than VP: Silmeria - 32 h. and FFX 25 h.) in my normal game play where do not improve LV too much and all

Still don't known of secrets and all but there is many things like kitchen and alchemy stuff so no BORING in that game Smiley)

It's got a place on the same schelf that I got Tales games HA SmileySmileySmiley
