Haha, looks worth checking out if I could even get it to run on this crappy machine. I have the original Hoihoi-san for PS2, but this looks more fun. I've never played any of the Gundam games, but looks kinda like it plays like the A.C.E.(Another Century's Episode) games, which are heaps fun.

It's much more fast paced than the official PS2 game, and it can run pretty well on slower computers I hear. I have the download link in case anyone wants it.

Rosenkreuzstillette which is a Megaman clone based of Megaman 5. This and Ether Vapor where the only highlights in Comiket 73 in terms of doujin games.

Still playing Tales of Phantasia and Team Fortress 2.

Also I'm trying to push myself to finish Star Ocean 3. I've been having a hard time at doing so though.

I've never been a huge fan with their works. I didn't really enjoy Chantelise or Gunner's Heart so I doubt I'll enjoy their newest game.

Well mostly due to the raving reviews it has received on this forum I bought Etria Odyssey the other day. It is a very addicting game and quite well done, it deserves the praises it receives. I'm only on the third floor right now, a very good challenge overall.

Still haven't beat either of the Final Fantasy games I have been working on for the past few months, I always stop playing rpgs right before I beat them. I have been getting into the Final Fantasy Tactics hacking scene though, and that is kind of interesting, I've been working on some custom sprites.

I'm also about 15 hours into Tales of Symphonia, it is very fun and I like all the characters. Though having played Abyss first makes me scream at the tv about not being able to free run and attack the enemy I want to.

Oh and a little Super Swing Golf Season 2 on the Wii...I don't really know why.

I've started playing Dead Rising (Xbox 360).  It kicks butt and a brutal great time.  Zombie bashing is where this game shines.  You have many ways to take out those walking undead.  I personally love smashing a steel rack at them and also mowing them over with a lawn mower.  It's so satisfying!

I also now have a Halo game.  I went back and finished Halo 2 (Xbox), which I had a save from 4 years ago on my original Xbox where I was near the end of the game.  I will play it again on the 360 while going after the other two games.

Samurai Spirits Tenkaichi Kenkakuden. Super Gaoh is so freaking cheap.

I finally got Ikaruga as well. Its a good game but very overrated. I like Radiant Silvergun better.

Still absorbed into Harvest Moon: Rune Factory, it's pretty good for what it is - defiantly plenty to do in this game.

On A whim, I finally started playing Grim Grimoire - It's actually quite fun, despite my usual aversion to strategy/base style games like this. And the story is actually very interesting, aside from the pretty art. Man, do I love dragons  Cheesy

Looks like my birthday got me plenty of Xbox 360 games for me to play.

First, I'm playing Halo 3.  I'm finally finishing the fight and loving it too.  I haven't jumped online.

I also am playing Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.  Got both of the major FPS of last year.  I played it previously at a friend's and it kicks butt.  I did go online with this one to play.  I did encounter one of those annoying players but I did use my right to review to say what I had to say about the experience.  Well, it's just the facts of life and shouldn't let it get to me.

The last one I'm playing is Rock Band.  It's Guitar Hero mixed with Karaoke Revolution plus drums thrown in for good measure.  What can I say except that it rocks!  It really sucks you in.  I'm mainly playing the guitar part in the solo mode but will switch to singing and drumming along the way when I feel like it.

Zero posts to the forum in two days straight. That's pretty depressing.

I've played a few games since I last posted to this thread, but... I'm gonna fire up my 360 for the first time in quite a damn while and spend some time with Eternal Sonata.

I've been procrastinating for weeks about starting a new game to play. Pretty dumb when you've got a huge backlog. I was initially considering a marathon to plow through the Atelier Iris series (I've got all 3 but haven't touched any of them), but ultimately chose ES at the last minute.

I'd probably be playing No More Heroes for Wii if my copy of the game didn't get stuck in backorder hell.

Just got Silpheed: The Lost Planet, one of the few PS2 shmups I missed when it came out. Haven't even opened the DVD case yet, though.

I'm also playing Contra 4 on the DS, but I suck at it. Tongue

I finished Halo 3 quickly.  I heard a couple of people disappointed with the ending but it felt satisfying for me.  Heck, it's better than Halo 2's cliffhanger ending.  Then again, I should be glad it didn't have an ending like a certain awful NES game.

Anyway, I now jumped online with Halo 3.  Been having a good experience so far, though I'm just going through Basic Training matchmaking.

Oh yeah, I'm now playing The Simpsons Game (Xbox 360).  There's a few things I find surprising about this:

1.  It's a game from EA and it's actually decent.
2.  It's another decent Simpsons game.  Just like Konami's Simpsons arcade game and Simpsons Hit and Run, the only other good Simpsons game.
3.  The writing is done by the actual Simpsons writer and it shines.  During my time with the game, I've kept laughing my butt off over so may jokes in the game.

The last one is the biggest contributor to my enjoyment of the game.  Yeah, the control and gameplay's decent, but the jokes are the ones in the spotlight.  My favorite part was having to go into the game's engine, where many gaming jokes come in.  I'll list my two favorites.

1:  A slave (supposely Sonic the Hedgehog in parody form) saying in the background, 'I know that Shadow version of me!  He's a nice guy.  Just misunderstood!'
2:  Game parody posters.  Calamari Damacy, Need for Speedo, Bite Night, and Moral Kombat Deceptions are just the beginning but my favorites are Metal Gear Soiled 4: Submiminum (definitely a poke at Metal Gear and releasing a director's cut version of a Metal Gear game later on) and Maddening (they have a poster line up of each year except it's the same cover but different year and different color of the football uniform).

I'll cut it off here because I'd be here all day if I continue talking about the jokes in the game.
