I'm going to need to pick up JUS at some point.  I beat JSS, but when JUS was coming, I figured I had more than enough games and not enough money, so I held off on it for now.  I really should buy that at some point though, the first game was fun stuff.

Well, my girlfriend was taking up my TV to play Trauma Center so I decided to start up Ys Origin. I was thinking that I should finish Tales of Destiny first as to not have multiple RPGs going, but then I figured Ys is hardly an RPG.. it's basically a straight-up action game where you just happen to level up.

Anyway, so far it's awesome! It's nice to play a game with a great soundtrack after two Tales games (ugh). The boss fights seems to want to overthrow the last Ys game in their greatness and there's two playable characters.. one makes the game a hack-and-slash and the other makes the game a sort-of hack-and-shmup! Fun stuff.

I've now completed New Super Mario Bros (though it'll be a while before I'm 100% on it) and have now moved on to Yoshi's Island DS, which seems a fair bit harder. This could all take some time...

Now I'm playing Children of Mana which is better then what everyone says. It's no Seiken Densetsu 3 but its still an excellent game.

I didn't post it for your benefit, since I've seen your Touhou avatars on several forums, and you said you were playing it. I posted for the benefit of everyone else so they'd know what you were talking about, since it's a doujin game using characters from a fairly obscure series to people outside of Japan, and for those that maybe like Megaman games.

I love Children of Mana, but then again, I'm a hack-and-slash whore so it caters to my sensibilities. I've FINALLY gotten a couple of my friends to get copies so I'll be exploring some yummy multi-player soon. I didn't think Seiken Densetsu 3 was very good actually.. it just felt too, loose, for lack of a better term. I've tried to play through it half a dozen times now and I just could never get into it.

I should get a chance to play Dawn of Mana soon!

Seiken Densetsu gets more fun once you start doing all that class changing stuff. My main gripe with the game though is that characters fly all over the place too easily and the Mana Beasts take forever to kill.

I think it adds replay value and an element of challenge. I went through the game twice, getting all weapons for only one girl each run. The Alice run actually seemed easier, but it was also my second time through the game.

Also, since the site I originally got that from went down, that's actually a compressed version of my folder, with my password list in it, so you have passwords for every step of both my runs, and a few from me experimenting with different weapons.

Once you play the game several times and know everything, the game gets much easier. The master weapons are bloody handy in the levels and will help out greatly. Also its important to remember the character's do have a hit box. Its somewhere on their face.

The Alice run actually seemed easier, but it was also my second time through the game.

You get Ghost Cutter, Bloody Cross and Ghost Reincarnation. Those abilities pretty much make the game much easier. Its also important to note Alice focuses on defensive weapons whilst Marisa focuses on offensive.

Yeah, I did get that far once (maybe twice).. but it didn't to save the game for me.

Dawn of Mana, on the other hand, looks like it's going to be really cool. It's got the best graphics I've ever seen out of the PS2 and it plays almost exactly like Kingdom Hearts II. I'm holding off until it's released in English, but I'm glad I got to try it out.

I'm currently playing Tales of Phantasia ~Full Voice Edition~ for the PSP.  There is nothing like having your favorite game get even better...

Yeah, I;m playing that too.  So much better than the GBA version.
