I'm at my mom's place right now and don't have much to do here, and have been minimizing my online time. I brought my PS2 down with Disgaea 2 and aside from going to the Puyallup Fair yesterday, I've been playing it almost non-stop and have probably logged 60-70 more hours.

I love the side stuff too much... I haven't advanced the main storyline in god knows how long. I'm only at chapter 5 in the story and I've begun to bust the game wide open. A few of my characters are demi-gods. I tried to evenly level a large group but once you hit a certain point, it just goes nuts and that ideal goes to hell. Then suddenly, you've got a character or two that completely outclasses the rest of the group and it's hard to go back to the weaker guys.

Picked up Megaman ZX today.  It's good stuff.  The gameplay is great.  The music, as always, is great.  And leaving the Japanese voices in instead of an awful dub!?  Amazing.  A fantastic release of what has, so far, been awesome.

Nice, sounds very encouraging, it makes a change from the current negativity on the... *groan* GameFAQs board. Hopefully my copy will arrive in time for the weekend Smiley

I was actually at the Puyallup Fair on Monday, I was disappointed by the Gyros but it was quite fun.

Currently Playing:
-Tales of the Abyss (quickly playing Japanese version for the voice acting before the english version is released)
-Lego Star Wars 2 (playing through this with my room mate)
-Kingdom Hearts 2 (need to get back to this)
-Final Fantasy XII (might not get back to this before the english version is released)
-Monster Hunter Freedom (amazingly under-loved series)
-Tales of Eternia (trying to get my room mate to start playing it with me again, we have been trying to beat it for about 6 years)

And yes I'm playing another Tales game. Tales of Eternia, I refuse to call it Tales of Destiny 2 simply so no one gets confused.

You're not supposed to. It's clearly labeled Tales of Destiny II, with a Roman numeral. The Arabic number 2 would cause confusion.

Still, Eternia works that much better.

I have way too many games to play to be able to focus on a single one for very long. Recently I've played Pepsiman, Final Fantasy XI, Rhythm Tengoku, and Tales of Legendia for any actual length of time, besides the usual matches in Guilty Gear XX Slash, Melty Blood Act Cadenza, Twinkle Star Sprites La Petite Princesse, Touhou Phantasmagoria of Flower View, and Battle Stadium DON with my friends. I almost can't remember the last time I actually finished a non-handheld game, especially an RPG. I think Symphonia's been the only one in the past year, oh wait, that and Valkyrie Profile on PS1 finally, after having it in my CD book for 5 years. I've also been toying with Simple 2000 Series THE Maid Uniform and Machine Gun.

My PS2 HDD is so loaded with saves from games I've played for about an hour, reached a save point, and put the game down and forgetten almost anything I accomplished, and moved to the HDD to free up space on my memory card...

It doesn't help that a friend brought his laptop over, put it on my LAN, and put 6000+ SNES ROMs in a shared folder on my computer... So many games I'd never even heard of before. They didn't even dent the terabyte of hard drive space in my computer.

Yeah but even using the Roman Numeral will cause some confusion but it really isn't a big deal since I mentioned both anyway Wink

Continuing on with Xenogears, finally at the end of Disk 1. Its is really good so far, loving it.

Started on Live -A- Live, not too bad. I'm not really a fan on the battle system though.

Sonic Riders, well its pretty decent. At least its better than Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic R. Its no F-Zero GX though thats for sure.

Hitogata Happa errhh.... Doomsday difficulty.

Just got my copy of Guilty Gear XX #reload. Probably the best fighting game out there, the Story mode is funa and it having differents pasths for each character gives it a lot of playability (60 paths just for story is INDEED a lot)

You should have picked up GGXX Slash. #R has been obsolete for about a year now. Two more characters, a new special move for almost every character, and the #R version of  every character is unlockable. The entire story mode has been translated and posted on GameFAQs since the Japanese release of GGXX anyway (and hasn't been included in Japanese #R or Slash, since it hasn't changed yet), as well as the story mode to GGX+.

http://hyperionx.net/drama.htm

That has the newer story content from the Japanese Drama CDs, translated by Edward Chang. I've also got his summaries of the novels somewhere, and the first scanlated chapter of the Xtra manga.

Also, GGXX Accent Core is currently undergoing location testing in Japan. Slash was doing so up until about now last year. They haven't added any new characters to that yet, but it has only been in testing for a few weeks, and they've been testing new game mechanics mostly during that time.

But yeah, if you happen to be in Alaska, I'll take you on with A.B.A, Order Sol, Zappa, and Dizzy. I have GG, GGX+, GGXX, GGXX#R (Korean LE version, with the additional BGM, the Korea stage, and the option of Korean voices), GG Isuka, and GGXX Slash, not counting handheld GG games. We;ve got about a dozen people in Anchorage that gather together when we are free to play GG, usually the newest game at the time. There's a few other people in other Alaskan cities/towns, but that's like driving across 3 states to get here to meet up with us, or an expensive plane ticket.

Currently playing Okami.  Apparently there was a lot of hype for this game.  I hate that kind of stuff, so I never keep up with games before their release.  So I'm currently enjoying this game a whole lot.  It's been getting better and better so far.

smashes head repeatedly  Bang Head Bang Head Bang Head

It's begun. The gaming deluge from hell. I'll be playing Okami shortly. Then Valkyrie Profile 2 in a week. Tales of the Abyss in possibly 3 weeks.  And despite all the time I've put into there's still so much more stuff left to do in Disgaea 2. Oh, and I just bought Megaman ZX for DS yesterday.

So... much to do... so little time....

I hear ya Cless, games overload has begun! Okami has been ordered and I'm currently digging deep into Yakuza.

Megaman ZX, Star Fox etc, I still haven't even gotten into yet.

Not much for me sinc I am now amazingly poor.

Playing
Summon Night: Swordcraft Story for the GBA, it's much better then I'd thought it would be so far.

Fire Emblem: PoR for the GC
 and
playing online golf (of all things) with Pangya, which is nice to help me relax, which I need

But like everyone says, there is so much in the process of coming out, I don;t even know where to begin

I just got a PSP, so now I'm playing Tales of Phantasia -Full Voice Edition-; although it's pretty much a port, the new sprites and small battle system tweaks give it a different feel, and the voice acting makes some scenes a lot better. Dhaos' new voice actor takes some getting used to, though...
