Playing Tales of Graces and holy hot damn is it awesome. Battles are fast paced, around step is great, characters are interesting, the music is amazing, and the story is suprisingly enjoyable so far.

Anyone else playing through this? Please tell me I'm not crazy and that this isn't just the new game bliss phase.

For a title made for an anniversary for it's series, Abyss REALLY bores the hell outta me.

Abyss was rushed to make that date. Pacing issues, and based on that really poor Symphonia PS2 engine. I think it needed another 6-12 months for both a new engine built from the ground up and more polish. That said, Abyss is still my second favorite from what I played of it. Wish they'd remake it on Vesperia's engine (and release it in the US).

I think Abyss' pace is fine for the most part. The deadline issues really, REALLY hurt the game later on, though. I only like it because I stopped just before things started to drag down on my second playthrough (or was it the third?).

I just purchased castle crashers and portal on xbla yesterday and damn those games are fun!. To bad I don't have a gold membership to play online with others in castle crasher though... (makes plan to abduct 3 random disgruntled people, tie them up in separate rooms and have them scream into a microphone to simulate the grand experience of online gaming on the xbox 360)

Chrono Cross is awesome. It's my favorite PS1 RPG. Good choice getting it.

...Playing Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Demo.

I am VERY, VERY addicted to this game all of a sudden.

Still playing ToV. I have to ask one thing: How long until the end the game?

I'm at Zaude. I'm trying to beat the game....can I do it in one day? You see, I'm selling the Xbox 360 and I wanna beat this game. Chances are, it'll be gone tomorrow. Can I do it??? Undecided

I guess depending on how fast you're going...I think maybe there's another 10-15 hours left? The third act starts after that and I think of that as like the last ~20% or so of the game.

you could probably finish the rest in like 5-6 hours if you rush it. avoid most non-boss fights, don't watch too many skits maybe, don't do too many sidequests, etc.

I resumed my Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard game about a week ago. I had only made it to 3F since buying the game. A few days ago (haven't played since then), I finally reached the second stratum.

The first stratum boss was a complete pushover...I think I came overprepared or something. Dunno, but I sent him packing with my Force skills in just two or three turns.

Ronin class in this game is awesome and so much better than the EO1 incarnation. I like my Gunner a lot, too. Not liking my Landsknecht as much, and the Protector still really sucks horribly at attacking (Smite even seems nerfed, if I'm remembering it correctly). I think I'm using the War Magus incorrectly (treating him too much like a Medic, like I should've just used a Medic to begin with. Well, maybe his stronger defense will come in handy...).

I've yet to see a binding attack actually bind an enemy. I don't know whether I should be happy or sad about that, because binding was a key strategy in EO1.

I'm playing Final Fantasy III (DS).  Well, I have to do something while waiting for the English release of Final Fantasy XIII.  This is doing just fine.

And still playing various fighters...especially for certain reasons.  But I would throw Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix in there while I'm at it as something I'm playing.

(Yes, there's a hidden certain reason in that last sentence).

Catching up with some old games that I never got around to finishing.

Finished Katamari Damacy and We Love Katamari, playing Shadow of the Colossus, in the process of going to the last colossus as I type this.

...I was unable to finish Tales of Vesperia before the Xbox 360 was sold.  Cry That game was f*cking awesome.

I pray the PS3 version will get localized. No, not for the extra content. I just want to enjoy this game on my PS3(which I won't open til tomorrow.

Anyway, I am now playing Phantasy Star: The End of the Millennium. Where has this game been all my life?!  Shocked I love this game!

How much of ToV was left for me? I just turning the apatheia into spirts. So far, I awakened Undine, Efreet and Sylph. While we're at it, the plot got a bit generic here.

Odin Sphere right now. Beautiful game, the controls could be a little more responsive but I love the atmosphere so it's all good.

Another dungeon for another spirit, a bunch of cutscenes and travelling around, then the final dungeon appears out of nowhere and that's pretty much it anyway. So I'd say you were almost done. And yes it did get generic, they should've just ended it after Zaude I think...
