Well, I just saved up for and bought the Youten katana. Now my Ronin can fell the bosses of strata 1-4 solo with (generally) little trouble. The bosses of strata 3 and 4 go down as long as their attack doesn't kill or otherwise debilitate her. Add another character and they level FAST FAST FAST. So much better than the Treefrog "exploit" in EO1. Plus, it's a good way to make money.

On the other hand, 21F isn't alleviating the SMT feel. So many instant death attacks. But unlike SMT, there's NOTHING you can do about them. Sad Mandrakes can die in a fire.

Giving Etrian Odyssey a shot. My party made up of a Landskenecht, Survivalist, Medic, Protector and Dark Hunter. This is so gonna go on my "DS games to get" list. I like the battle theme.

Hmm...I think Colossus would have given me some serious trouble if it weren't for my Hexer revenging every turn. It practically felt like Revenge was NECESSARY to even get to it. Those beamsword FOEs took little damage from anything I tried unless you Dampened them.

Tales of Destiny (PS1), which I still can't believe I didn't see it was in english.
Playing a little bit everyday but liking it Tongue

Replaying Tales of Symphonia (GCN), for the third time and still finding it awesome.

Tales of VS (PSP) Play a little bit everyday. It's pretty entertaining

Tales of Hearts (DS) I stopped playing it some time ago  cause i didn't like having to read the translation on the computer, but i think i may be returning to it soon Tongue

Replaying Donkey Kong 64 (Nintendo 64) for the i don't know...tenth time? xD It still is as great as the first time.

I couldn't kill the Beamedges... I just avoided them (Not worth the effort) >_>;

Also Colossus is big and mean. Dark Hunter's Bait shreds through it though. Whip Hunters can use now too!

I had trouble avoiding them because some are red and thus Haltshot was useless. They'd get in my way with no way around them. :/ Once I had to fight three of them in a row in a single battle thanks to them joining the fray just before killing the last one. It was thanks only to Revenge for getting out alive.

What do these even do. The in-game descriptions are far from clear and the people who wrote the skills FAQ didn't care enough to do anything more than copy it word-for-word.  Roll Eyes

Still playing 7th Dragon. I got Angelica Cage now and just used for the first time against Invisible. Wow... my party is pretty broken now (So easy to use Triple Kiss with it) =/

Still playing Tales of Phantasia too.

Every time an ally next to the Dark Hunter (In the same row) or the Dark Hunter himself is attacked on the turn it's used the DH launches a counter attack. It can be triggered multiple times as well.

Put the DH in the middle if the front row with a Provoking Protector and watch the fireworks fly =D

Finally, Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard is beaten. Going to play around with the post-game now. I'm still confused on how to really open up the 6th stratum, though. I also really love how the 6th stratum's music is another nice, soothing tune while the battle music is some crazy heavy deathmetal. Funny contrasting, there.

I found the first form of the final boss more difficult than the second. But neither are as tough as Colossus, which I just re-fought without my Hexer.

Now bring on EOIII!!!

EDIT: Got trashed by Drake in three turns WTF.

Just started Phantom Brave last night. Its a lot more fun than I expected it to be. Creating your allies on the field through objects that have certain stat affinities to them is really interesting and unique. Haven't got far (just beat that "White Wolf Raphael" impersonator), but its terribly fun.

26F. This place wins as far as most obnoxious random encounters in either EO game. Whoever thought it would be a good idea to have five enemies each use buffs/debuffs/heals EVERY TURN needs to be clubbed. The animations for those are nauseatingly slow and cannot be sped up UNLESS you use auto-battle which is NOT a good idea here. Bang Head

Also would have liked more in-game hints to the fact that that the first teleporter takes to you the other side of the map at night.

I just got Skies of Arcadia: Legends. Been wanting to spruce up my GC collection. Anyway, it's a bit funny how the employee at GameStop believed that Skies was a Tales of Symphonia spinoff. Enjoying the game so far.

EDIT: Would anyone recommend Makai Kingdom?

oh man, Skies is a great game. i didn't get too far into it, but my friend is in love with it. did you know that they made a sequel to it, like, a completed sequel, but never released it? or at least something to that effect lol. sucks, huh?

Playing some KH. i got to the Deep Jungle... again lol. i love how it takes a few worlds to get the BASIC healing spell...
finally got to Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney JUSTICE FOR ALL!! i felt smart... i beat the tutorial case all by myself Smiley lol.

Tales of Symphonia. Kinda a multiplayer play since my brother likes to play as Colette. I guess I've gone for tri-Ace rush to Tales of rush ==;

Also starting over in Disgaea 3. Which is by far the fastest NIS game to get everything in post-game done. Kinda annoyed that mages get shafted though >_>

Old Crabs use an Attack Down and Defense Up move for the first two turns. After that their pattern is seeminly random. They're a bit of pain if you don't have elemental attacks like Kienzan or Voltshot.

Those Lizards (I forget their name), are the ones that fully heal the enemy party each turn. They're pretty frail though.

The later floors have easier enemies surprisingly (Barring Trihorns and Moths. Former inflicts Instant Death, latter has AoE Confuse). You may want to Retire your chracters if they're at level 70 for a stat bonus and extra points to spend. Levelling up doesn't take that long in this game (Just keep killing Colossus.)
