wait? there is an english patch for the FF12 International thing?

Yeah, apparently it was released just a few months ago, thought I dont know the date for sure. Regardless, it's out now...... the whole thing about FF12Izjs being in Japanese only killed my interest despite the ridiculous amount of repairs/fixes/additions that are in it(playing a turn based game like this w/ a lot of reading is difficult.).

Also finally getting around to playing a little bit of Sonic Unleashed here and there on the PS2. The general consensus on the game applies to me too, but being an old school Sonic fan, I think I can tolerate the Werehog stages for now.

Should've got the PS3 or 360 versions. The Wii and PS2 versions are the worst versions of the game. (Mainly due to having more werehog levels and making them more combat focused instead of platformer focused.)

That and the PS2 and Wii versions has 2 outta the 7 locations cut out, IIRC.

And I'm nearing the end of Rogue Galaxy. But I wanna reach Rank 1 first....

Trust me, I don't need a comparison to know how much more incredible SU on the 360/ps3 is  haha I wish I had either of those consoles, I would easily have picked it up for them.

...But looking at them side by side like that is really depressing. Even Heroes packed a better punch than SU for ps2, man.

Almost finished Star Ocean 4 Int. Overall its not as bad as people say but IMO its not as good as SO2 or SO3. Might do post-game but this means investing on item creation (The Welch in this one is annoying and scary looking ;_;)

Also doing yet another play through in 7th Dragon. Because I still think its the best DS game of all time. Trying a status inflicting heavy party (Knight, Samurai, Rogue, Princess) this time. I already miss using a Mage =(

(They're pretty much everything EO's Alches should have been)

And finally, the game which most of us visit the site for; Tales of Phantasia. Its been ages since I last played through game so the experience feels all fresh again (Despite the fact I played it a lot back in the day >_>)

EDIT: Oh yeah, almost finished Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth as well. Its a great game. I highly recommend it to any fans of the series.

I've been playing a some more Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. i've been on the fifth case for like, a week now lol! sadly enough, i can only go through the court... by using online strategy guides lol.

So, i decided to download Soma Bringer a few days ago, and it's awesome! i made a gunner because i wanted something other than a fighter/spellcaster, and i'm glad i did, since this class is a mix of both with long range! the story isn't that bad either, but all of the main characters seems... a bit much. great game though. too bad it didn't get localized.

I try to avoid using guides when playing them. When you work out the contradictions on your own it makes you feel smart =)

Gunner is my favorite class, its fun rolling around and debuffing enemies. Though since my brother likes to play as a Soma I usually end up playing as a Corp to keep his character alive =/

We tend to get into fights with debuffs though since they can't stack =(

Playing Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Tales of the Abyss.

Suprisingly, Abyss is starting to grow on me. I don't know why.

Sands of Destruction.
Most entertaining characters I've seen in a long time. It may be completely unrealistic and over the top, but that's what makes it so great imo; It doesn't even try to be serious, the main chick pretty much just goes "gogogo smash kill destroy" all the time and I find it hilarious.

Battle system is horribly broken though. Didn't they want to fix that for the US version? They didn't.

perhaps because you had a Guy avatar on Multimediaxis for months
Also, if this is actually true, that was you and I still remember it, please kill me >_>

Figuring out the contradictions DO make you feel smart... too bad i'm not smart enough TO figure them out lol. stupid little details that wouldn't make sense to most people...

i'm really liking the gunner class. do you use the bows or the guns though? i'm having trouble picking...

Its just a matter of speed versus power. Both weapons are good to use so its a matter of what you prefer. I personally prefer Guns.

Tales of Hearts. Yes, yes, I know: UNLIMITED SLOWPOKE WORKS. Stop looking at me like that. Really. Put the knife down. ...please?

I'm also kind of bouncing Radiant Mythology 2 and SRW A Portable in and out of my PSP depending on the mood. RM2 has so many damned training missions that it may take just as long to get 100% quest completion as it did for me to finish the game ONCE.

I was playing SRW Alpha 3 today; sixth time through, Selena Route, special mode, playthrough parameter is "all squad leaders are female". I try to do that in as many SRWs as possible. I like girls. I'm also doing that in K, but I haven't played that since Christmas. Hm. I feel like playing Alpha 2.

Good lord...20F is brutal. I feel like I'm suddenly playing SMT or something. All these status attacks and debuffs are driving me crazy. It's so bad I bought Bird Stares to protect against the Petaloids' sleep attack and it's like they don't seem to make a significant difference. Encountering two of them who both use the sleep attack damn near guarantees your whole party will be put to sleep anyway. Feels like it's not worth the hit to defense power. The Venombugs hit brutally hard.

Hate Venombugs. Hate hate hate....

I don't remember the exact strategy I employed to deal with them however... since my party consisted of single target attackers (Protector, Dark Hunter, Ronin, Gunner, War Magus). Petaloids only bothered me when I'm ambushed by them. All my characters (Barring the WM) could kill them in one hit.

Oh well. To make up for it, the boss is cake.
