*drumroll*

Ta-dah! Finally got the game!  Cheesy
I've been a fan of the series and I got majorly hyped when this was announced. This feels like it's going back to the first game's roots. As in less of that apocalyptic, dark and edgy atmosphere that Jak 2 and 3 gave me.

Almost finished Ogre Battle 64. Pretty decent but its not on the same level as Tactics Ogre.

Also I might have already mentioned it but, I'm also playing Hikari no 4 Senshi: Final Fantasy Gaiden. Which tries to be as close to the NES FFs as possible. Its a decent play but its not as good as the other RPGs on DS (7th Dragon, Etrian Odyssey). I can predict that game will be given a lot of hate once it gets an English release though =(

Stupid gamers always want their games to be easy =(

Finished Leon and Kyle's route in Tales of Vs. The last battle against Stahn was easy... in fact, the whole game was, except for the second Barbatos fight.

Isn't that normal? Its like traditional he cheeses you in every game he appears in =(

Does he do the whole:

"NO ITEMS! NO MAGIC! FINAL DESTINATION" in Tales of Vs?

EDIT: Man look at me yammer on and on. I'm always saying "not as good as this" and "not as good as that". I need to stop doing that =(

Beat my FF6 Advance low-level run (A little over 60 hours total ~_~).  Gonna take a long break before I attempt the Dragons' Den (If I do it at all).

Started a Hardcore difficulty run on Tales of Eternia PSP.. dunno how far I'll get though.

I beat Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier. Now I wanna finish Tales of Vesperia before Black Friday. But I have my priority on this: I FINALLY got off my lazy ass and started playing the .hack//G.U. trilogy. I LOVE this trilogy. It actually made me cry when I finished the optional stuff in the 3rd one. I cried because it was over. I loved it that much...

Started playing Soma Bringer which is a lot like the Diablo games only its a JRPG >_>

Still playing the above mentioned games. Emulating Ogre Battle 64 is not fun, this is one game that I hope gets a VC release.

Been playing Nostalgia (for the Nintendo DS), and I just finished the main storyline a couple of days ago. All I have left to do is the sidequests (Adventurer's Association and World Treasures), and then I'll be all done. Pretty good game, despite being lacking in the story and localisation quality aspects. Aside from that, I had few complaints about the gameplay (freaking high altitude airship battles!) and it was a nice nostalgic ride on the most part, if you'll excuse the pun.

The use of real-world Earth locations was a stroke of brilliance. It got me looking up locations on Google Earth because I'd missed out on history classes in school, so it was nice having that necessary learning of applicable facts. Good game, indeed.

What I've been playing instead of my gorgeous current-gen games:
-Super Robot Wars W and K (DS)
-Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2 (PSP)
-Tales of Destiny (not-remake)
-Grandia (seriously haven't played this in almost a decade)

ToD is...better than I remember. Maybe I just have all those years of experience under my belt. Heh, I switched out Leon after getting Philia BECAUSE I KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NOW. *considers renaming him to "Heero" for the lulz* Except someone ELSE blows him up, and his plot armor is mysteriously gone. Somewhere in the multiverse, Jade Curtiss is laughing. *can't stop being a voice-actor nerd*

Unrelated question: is Kyle the biological son of Stahn and Rutee or was he just an adopted orphan-infant with the exact same hair color as Stahn? I mean, I find it highly-doubtful that Loni could be his real brother, since they look WAY too different. *can't read enough Japanese to fiddle out the details*

Kyle is Stahn and Rutee's biological child. Stahn gave him the last name Dunamis because he was born at the Dunamis Orphanage.
And now, back to my 2nd playthrough n Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier. Also, now I'm in the mood for Mortal Kombat.

I see. Okay, that makes sense now, given Kyle's personality and heavy sleeping.

*raises white flag*

So, I'm at the second-to-last boss in the Lost Frontier 2nd playthrough. This boss keeps kicking my ass. Didn't even gave me time to breathe. Jeez, one blow takes like 75% of your health(even at max health!). Would it kill High Impact Games to leave some health just like they did in the second halfof the fight? Taking a break. I'm gonna go practice fatalities in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon.

Playing banjo kazooie and banjo tooie on my 360. I'm mostly playing tooie cause I like it better. I originally owned tooie and never got kazooie for my n64. I actually played through kazooie just so I could get all the stop n' swap eggs. I'll get back to it when I'm finished with banjo tooie.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii. The difficulty of this game is surprising. World 3 kicked my ass a lot, and I died plenty of times in levels prior. I don't remember dying this much even in Super Mario Bros. 3 or Super Mario World back when they were fresh and new. It still gives you billions of 1ups like NSMB DS, but they actually have a purpose here!

Just finished Soma Bringer. Now I'm just farming a certain boss for a nice gun I can bring with me for the post-game dungeons. The final boss was pretty disappointing though. I was expecting a big challenge like Baal in Diablo 2 but she was pretty wimpy outside of her time stopping move and that full screen holy attack. She did kill my AI partners though but they die all the time anyway (I wish they didn't) =/

Also playing New Super Mario Bros. Wii. I've been playing together with my brother. So far its been pretty enjoyable though most of my deaths have been the result of my brother interfering with my jumps =/

LOL, at least you past it then its good enough. Took me forever to pass it because my stupid friend wont co-operate; they keep slipping off or falling behind. Not only that they either die or when trying to help out they kill me. You dont want to know how much time we died at World 3-2  Cry

They always shoot shells at enemy without knowing I'm there which ends up killing me. My worst death was World 1 last stage; I jump on those spinning wat you call them. While I was waiting for the right time to jump the other platform my friend jump on me the same time I jump I fell into the lava and he survived + he had a propeller T_T

Generally my brother avoids hitting me with shells unless of course this happens @_@
