I just finished Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Definitely felt worth sticking with, especially once the story on the most part stopped focusing on world-specific plot threads that weren't going to be resolved until Kingdom Hearts 2. Speaking of KH2's relation to this midquel, even though I've only seen the first few hours of that game, it made the ending of 358/2 Days that much more depressing. Also, the whole Xion thing got so creepy right around the end, especially in the penultimate boss battle. I need brain bleach to get that certain image out of my head. I now believe that it's true that Disney does enjoy the taste of our tears. La la la twit-twiddle-dee, twit-twiddle-dee... *sob* Still, I enjoyed the game, and just wish I had the skills to earn those last few Organization Emblems. Oh well.

Not sure what I'm going to play next. I got a nasty case of whiplash when I tried playing Magical Starsign immediately after finishing KH 358/2 Days, so I'm putting that one on the back burner for now. I guess I'll either go for Nostalgia (aka. Winds of Nostalgia), or Riz-Zoawd.

Hikari no 4 Senshi: Final Fantasy Gaiden. A bit hard to play since the game is in Japanese but I've been doing fine so far. The game is pretty good and provides some challenge thankfully.

Also Ogre Battle 64. Organizing your army is a pain mainly because in order to get new recruits you have to raise soldiers and their element is randomly generated ==;

Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2, Final Fantasy 4 DS (I've played the other versions so I wanna give this one a spin), and Mana-Khemia 2 (Ulrika route; this is seriously the only Gust/Atelier game I've EVER finished).

What's the English-speaking Tales fanbase's general consensus on RM2? I mean, I know it's not supposed to be AWESOME STORY, seemingly having more focus on how characters would react to each other and allowing the player to make awesome crossover parties.

Been playing Tales of Vs. in my recently purchased PSP... and it's good. Surprisingly so. I'm just skipping cutscenes on story mode and going for the actual battles, so I can't tell whether they managed to come up with a decent excuse for all the pointless fighting (probably not), but the gameplay is pretty good. Only complaint I have is that the AI could use some tweaking.

Playing this game reminds me of how much I love this series... damn, I need to play a real Tales game soon. Haven't touched one since Hearts. This might be a good time to pick up that PSP port of Eternia... or to just forget about the series and wait a few more months for the Phantasia patch, then start a marathon. Tongue

Beware: Eternia(some copies iirc) PSP has a game-breaking glitch. Anyway, picking up Rogue Galaxy tomorrow. If it's not there, Psychonauts.

I never got far in RM2 (Language barrier and limited motivation) but from what I've played its very similar to RM1 in many ways. I guess its sorta like RM1+ as far as gameplay goes. I never tried adding party members but I can suspect its handled the same way.

Play a demo of the game I've been fanboying over ever since it's announcement: Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier. Everything looks and plays great. Nuts to the morons complaining that the game will suck without even playing or that the game isn't developed by Ready at Dawn. High Impact Games did a fantastic job(it's like Naughty Dog did it themselves). It's charm is there and it feels like the roots of the series. Demo gives a good feel of the game and I'm happy that for once the plot isn't as edgy like in Jak 2+3.

My thoughts on the game:

So buying this on Tuesday or Wednesday. And thank goodness Dark Daxter doesn't sound like a retard all that much.

Had this for a month but I finally got around to finishing Ghostbusters on Xbox 360.

Okay, I'm going to end up doing it, so let's get the Ghostbusters quotes/references out of the way.

"We came, we saw, we kicked its ass!"

And no, I'm not a god (despite knowing that, "If someone asks if you're a god, you say YES!")

And of course, a certain ending screen from that certain Ghostbusters NES game.

At least for the recent Ghostbusters game, this was better applied, despite how bad the English is.  (It's also funny how that screen made a cameo on a monitor in the Ghostbusters' HQ)

It's true.  "Busting makes me feel good!"  Now I got that out of my system.  I'm going to see about getting a few more achievements before sending it back.

I'm also going to see about other games to finish...like say get around to completing Gears of War 2 or something.

I hope you find Rogue Galaxy; its a stellar RPG. I hadnt enjoyed an rpg that much since my first run through FF7 and Symphonia. The story is somewhat 'meh'-ish I suppose, but by the end I really felt an attatchment to all the characters and the worlds. Plus there are a ton of goodies and extras that'll keep you busy (a mark system similar to FF 12's marks, ie hunting down harder-than-average enemies for bonus rewards). Anyway, hope you get it, RG's a treat.

Demon's Souls New Game+ mode has been beaten.

I kind of still want to play, but I'm conflicted over whether or not I want to continue with this character anymore. My favorite armor is female-only and females can also only equip something that increases soul drops slightly.

Can't you make a second character?

Anyway, I actually beat Disgaea 2 on Thursday. Now on Axel mode. LOL, Axel has a role in the movie, Makai Wars. Expecting Asagi to be part of the story now.  Grin

Been doing a low-level run on FF6 Advance. Actually I've been resetting at Gigantuar over and over. It's killing my desire to complete it Sad

Edit: Omg, finally beat him. :DD

Finished Leon and Kyle's route in Tales of Vs. The last battle against Stahn was easy... in fact, the whole game was, except for the second Barbatos fight. Jesus, that guy's a freaking MONSTER. The AI-controled character never survived a single minute against him... and it pissed me off whenever he used a hi-ougi just as I was about to deal the finishing blow.

Stahn's scenario was unlocked for completing Kyle's. There's also the Lloyd/Colette, Luke/Tear and Yuri/Farah (WTF?) ones, which are available from the start. But I'll leave these for later; now it's time to put this game down and go play a real Tales.
