Well, the whole Ar tonelico II situation has me greatly annoyed, so I've put that down for now. So I've decided to play
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations
, the legendary third game in the series.

Godot is the most badass video game character of all time.
Playing
Star Ocean 2
again since its my favorite tri-Ace game. Still hate fighting those blasted shield knight guys. So annoying.... argh...
Original PS1 version BTW. Have no interest in the PSP remake since the voice acting probably won't match up to the
legendary
voice acting of the original plus there doesn't seem enough changes to make me consider playing it. The 10 Wise Men get their angelic names back though.
Also continuing my new play through on
Etrian Odyssey
. EO1 Dark Hunters aren't as bad as I thought. Though her damage isn't as great as my Survivalist or Protector she's doing a pretty good job.

Finally, I'm playing
Tatsunoko Vs Capcom
(Wii). Currently, I can't stop playing it. It's too much fun. I still have one more unlocking to do with the small laundry list of 4 characters to unlock then I can just focus on mastering character. I'm looking to main Soki, Yatterman, Viewtiful Joe, and Casshern to name a few.
Outside of that, I've been renting
Quantum of Solace
(Xbox 360) after getting into a James Bond mood from watching Casino Royale. It's entertaining but it's definitely not Goldeneye (or even Everything or Nothing).
Of course, I'm still playing Rock Band 2.

No you couldn't turn off the voice acting. There is an undubbed version available on the internet though. And I'm pretty sure I downloaded it too but I couldn't find where I saved it =/

Started playing Tales of Vesperia since my 360 came in on Monday.
Hearing Lloyd's voice (Code Geass) for that one knight when Yuri gets captured in the beginning of the game was lolriffic.

So I've decided to play
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations
, the legendary third game in the series.
Just finished it. And it was just a fantastic experience. I didn't outright dislike any of the cases.
Case 1: Best tutorial case in the series, easily. It's actually extremely important to the underlying story of the series...
Case 2: Zvarri! Luke Atmey was cool,
though he does give up a bit too easily.
Case 3: This case seems to be extremely hated for some reason, many claiming it to be the worst in the series. Yeah, Jean Armstrong and his restaurant are horrible, but I found most of the case fairly interesting. It's almost totally filler, but I like it more than the other third cases in the series. PW1 case 3 still gets my vote for worst case.
Case 4: Short, but awesome.
Sad end. Quite unconventional. I was more expecting Mia to actually lose this case, as it had been previously established that Edgeworth had been undefeated until his encounters with Phoenix. But the client committed suicide just before the verdict could be handed down. Crazy!
Case 5: Bloody brilliant and fantastic. It wastes no time getting good. I was at the edge of my seat from start to finish. Probably my favorite case in the entire series. Only unfortunate thing about it is that I predicted a lot of twists in it.
While playing, I constantly kept thinking "What if they really DID kill Maya, this time?". I was actually expecting something mega explosive like that that to happen, but it never did. I was looking for an answer as to why Maya doesn't seem to be anywhere in Apollo Justice's cast and why Phoenix looks like a bum. Guess I'll have to play that game to learn a lot more...
Anyway, the Phoenix Wright arc was a blast. I enjoyed the underlying storyline immensely, probably more than any other game's ever. The writing and scenarios are better and more clever than any other games I've played by numerous orders of magnitude. But I guess that's to be expected of what is basically an interactive novel...
So, uh...onto
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney
. I've finished the first case and I gotta say this seriously has me worried about what's become of the old cast. It certainly seems like things didn't wind like how you'd expect after PW3. Phoenix's personality has changed and it's bothering me a bit...
WTF is with this forged evidence!? This isn't something the old Phoenix would use. I guess it filled in for what should have been at the crime scene, but still!

I personally found Apollo Justice a hugely disappointing sequel to the greatness that is Phoenix Wright. The only saving grace of that game are the hilarious caricatures by hiimdaisy (which are all spot on in depicting the absolute ridiculousness of the story and characterizations in AJ).

Jean still gives me nightmares =(
I agree though outside of creepy chefs I found Case 3 actually pretty good as well. Gumshoe's character is well developed, Godot is still a badass, and the whole "Phoenix's doppelganger" thing was pretty amusing.

I'm playing
fable 2
and while I'm having fun with it there are things that really bug me. Sure you can do evil things and goods but what are the consequences for my actions? Sure if I kill some one (or 47 people) guards chase me I either fight them pay a fine or do community. None of these truly affect my game play though. In fact I can choose the community service option with out ever actually doing it. I can still buy property and shops and I'll always be able to find some npc who will marry me if I fart enough which also brings me to another point. You can't die in the game. You get knocked out and magically come back to life after a slowmo rag doll display and gain a permanent scar. Again these scars don't hinder you what so ever. Every one will call you ugly but if you fart enough you'll still be able to find some one to fall for you. Go on a mass murdering spree every one will say bad things about you but you still can do anything you could before. How does my experience truly change with in the game if I choose to be good or evil? It doesn't! It's like the first game. Whether you're good or evil there's no real difference with the story. If you choose to let some main character live or die doesn't matter because you wont see them again! It's basically "you can, but what the hell does it matter?" kinda experience.
EDIT: also you can't kill children and I'm gonna kill my hubby because he's annoying me.

And I finished Apollo Justice.
Case 1: Yay, the typical 1-day, court-only tutorial case. At least it has bearing to the underlying story. For some reason, I had a hard time following parts of it. Decent, but it's still a far cry from PW3 case 1.
Case 2: Probably my second favorite case in the game. I didn't really care for the client, that much, though. I liked Eldoon and Stickler.
Stickler's meltdown and embarrassment when you prove he's the panty thief was probably the funniest thing in the whole game.
Case 3: A lot of little things really irritated me with this case. Too many "Oh, WTF!!" moments. Didn't really like it much at all, and it's definitely pretty low on my favorites list.
Case 4: As usual, the best is saved for last.
Poor Phoenix. Lost his attorney's badge for being set up and unknowingly presenting forged evidence. This is when case 1 suddenly makes sense... REVENGE, BITCH! Phoenix damn well knew what was up the entire time!
As great of a case this is, I don't think it's better than any of the final cases in PW1-3. (when I say final case in PW1, I mean case 4; the original final case of the game.)
Overall, I thought Apollo, Trucy, and Klavier had a lot less character development compared to Phoenix, Maya, and Edgeworth in PW1. Perhaps the underlying story was too focused on Phoenix (and this is supposed to be Apollo's arc), but on the other hand, he's the sole reason I really wanted to start on this game immediately after PW3 in the first place. I yearned to see even more old faces return as a result. It felt sort of frustrating you'd hear nothing about them 7 years later.
The ending was a little vague. They left open a lot possibilities for Ace Attorney 5. I don't know where this arc is going to go but it seems like it's going to take a lot for it to ultimately be as epic and compelling as Phoenix's. It wasn't a bad game but I would not put it above any of the original trilogy.
I think I'm done with this little...break. Time to get that ToP script edit inserted. So not playing anything now.

Im wayy late on the bandwagon, but I finally got my paws on Tales of Rebirth and Tales of Destiny 2. I immediately fell in love with Tales of Rebirth and its amazingly addicting battle system. Currently grinding for the last boss.
TOD2, im loving not as much, but its still really fun in its own right.
Currently at a parallel world or something.

Along with Tatsunoko Vs Capcom, I now have my most anticipated game this year. I'll let the picture speak for itself:
Yeah. It's so great and a great return for a legendary fighting game series. I'll be stuck on Xbox Live for the time being. If you want a fight, find me (same name you see here on the fourms, including the space). Now I just need to practice that hadoken.
Yes, I also need to defeat Sheng Long to stand a chance!
