Since the translation patch came out I decided to buy
Utawarerumono
after being recommended it. Its a good game. The SRPG parts are okay but not as fun as several other SPRGs. The visual novel parts are great though. Just have to be careful of the H-Scenes >_<

I haven't even beaten a first playthrough...
And I haven't got the game yet =(
I've been hearing mixed opinions on the game so I constantly debating with myself on whether I should import it or not.

Any direct download purchasing sites?
Oh and also playing DMC4.

The patch is at
Mirror Moon
The game can be found at
Himeya Shop
or PaletWeb. I can't link the product from PaletWeb since I don't have an account to access the page but there should be a link on Mirror Moon anyway.

Still juggling games around. Though I still want to play more online Halo 3.
Well, I've been playing
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations
(DS). While I haven't made much progress through the second case, I can say that Godot is so cool!
On another note, I really should get back to playing Call of Duty 4. Then again, I just want to complete my second playthrough of Abyss since I'm so close and get it out of the way (and expect a revised verdict from me sometime afterwards, since I got stuff to say about it).

Currently playing
Final Fantasy IV DS
. All I have to say is... God, I love this game. I could play FF4 a million times and never get sick of it, so getting to see it looking all pretty and shiny is great.
I'm also replaying
Earthbound
for about the billionth time. Trying to hold out for
Smash Bros.
... We'll see how that goes. XD

With Super Smash Bros. Brawl a week away (in North America), I decided to play a fighting game to pass that week away.
Virtua Fighter 5
(Xbox 360). Game's too great! Too addicted! Get me playing Quest mode or online battles, I'm going to have a hard time pulling myself away from that game! At least Sega didn't mess up Virtua Fighter!

Chrono Trigger
Chrono Cross
Devil May Cry 4
Gears Of War
Guitar Hero/Rock Band
I have the first two games on my PSP so they're portable. I love to play Devil May Cry's and so I got the 4th one and it's really fun. I enjoy it. The last two I always play. Multiplayer/friends and the such. lol Good day.

I'll just say it right now. Yes, I am playing
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
(Wii). Yes, it is great! I've been focus on unlocking everyone. Haven't done any serious online play though (Okay, I'm just waiting to get a group together).

Unfortunately, I give up on Eternal Sonata. I'm just not having fun with this, and I really wanted to like it. Its strong points are its visuals and soundtrack.
The tipping point for me is a seemingly irrelevant destination which then drops you into a couple of incredibly lame fetch quests before you can even gain access to it. I can't stand fetch quests that send you onto ANOTHER fetch quest to complete it, which this was. Some games have nice designs where this kind of thing isn't that big of a deal, but this game doesn't.
Couple that with the fact that ES by far one of the most repetitive battle systems I've ever played with. Enemies are *always* in same starting position. The typical strategy... run up to the enemy, mash the attack button as much as you can while the turn timer hasn't run out, and then hit the special attack button. This often kills the enemy. If it doesn't, just send the next troop to them and repeat the same. It's laughably easy. There's so little depth and variance here that I just don't find this fun whatsoever. I liked how they tried to fuse realtime with turn-based, but this game's approach just doesn't work.
Also, how the heck was that score performance thing supposed to work, anyway? Is someone supposed to be able to read music to use it effectively? Cause I can't, and I found it really boring and frustrating trying each score piece to get results.
Finally, the story wasn't particularly great from what I saw. The villains are among the lamest of the lame. I liked a couple of the playable cast (particularly Frederic and Viola), but that's pretty much about it.
I give Eternal Sonata a 2/5. I played it for about 15-20 hours.
Thinking about what to play next...
No More Heroes
looks like a nice change of pace.

Yea, i rented eternal sonata and returned it the following day. It was good, but it just made me want to play a tales game especially with the way the multiplayer turned out to be. Right now, i'm currently playing nothing because of my studies, but as soon as my spring break comes(in a week and a half) me and my friends plan to get back to beating resistance and TALES OF ETERNIA finally. we started over break, but then i had to go back to school
.
update: 1 more week till break. I ordered swap magic so i guess i'll be playing todc over the break. I know the game is in kanji, but is their any way to change the displays to like romaji or something? the only word i recognize in kanji is tree

Spring break must be being real nice if there's almost a month without posts in this thread.
I recently got off my spring break and am starting a new quarter. I used my week off to finish
Okami
. A very fulfilling experience. I'm really glad that I took the time to play it. It's so easy to waste time in that game doing sidequests and just simply running around. My 80+ hour save file can attest to that. Even though the battles can get repetitive after a while and are on the easy side (except for the optional bandit spider devil gates near the end), the game as a whole is so well designed and rewarding. To anyone with a Wii who missed out on the PS2 version, I really recommend grabbing the Wii version that's coming out soon (in America at least). As long as you have a good chunk of time to invest in it, I guarantee you won't regret playing it. The exposition-heavy beginning can drag on for a while, but give it time and the game lets you off the leash and that's when the real fun starts.
edit: In celebration of the Wii release,
http://www.okamiart.com/
launched recently. They have almost every piece of art made for the game, wallpapers, fan art, etc. I don't feel pictures can capture how the game looks like in motion. I feel it's one of those games you absolutely must play for yourself to understand.
I bought
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
even though I don't have a Wii. It's not a bad deal though since my dorm plays it on a projector. It's a good party game but I'm agreeing with the old Melee vets that it's not as good a competitive game as Melee.

Nope, crack open that kanji dictionary.

Well, after turning Final Fantasy XII inside out and actually writing a
review
of it, I've gone back to Final Fantasy X and spent 64 hours on it so far. I was about 50 hours in when I realized I'd missed Al Bhed Primer #22 and couldn't go back for it. Oh well. Final Fantasy X-2 is currently in the mail, that might take my mind of it.

Odin Sphere
. Fantastic graphics, the first boss looks stunning. I haven't played far into it yet (just beat the second Chapter) but although the graphics are stunning the game seems quite repetitive.
