Yeah, I did everything in Goemon's Great Adventure but I decided to play through it again.  At least I can use the alternate costumes on another file when I do (Yeah, I'm going to have Ebisumaru dressed like a raccoon and make Sasuke "Tarzan boy").  Yeah, I love it alot.  Just another reason to hang onto my Nintendo 64 (The other two being Perfect Dark and Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon).

Oh yeah, I'm also playing Castlevania: Curse of Darkness (Xbox).  I just felt like playing a Castlevania game.

Also, I'm playing more Pokémon Diamond just to have something else to play too.

^_^ Seems I have a twin!!

I have a gripe to make about the next batch of games coming out this half of the year...WHY are they so good!!  I'm never going to have enough time to finish them all!!!

Sure it starts with GU Volume 1, Odin Sphere, The Darkness, just got Grimgrimoire *sigh*

pretty soon it will be GU Volume 2 and 3, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Blue Dragon and Persona 3 *AAARGH!!* *head 'splodes*

I think its almost as crazy as being an avid film fanatic trying to watch every movie ever made...its totaly impossible in one lifetime!  [unless you're a rich smarmy brat who's about to retire at 30...lucky punks!]

I've changed from my previous games to Seiken Densetsu 3 (recently completed, first RPG completed in something like three or four years) and, quite relevantly to this forum, Tales of Phantasia (the Super Famicom version, for the third time). It really makes me want to play the PlayStation version.

I finished Super Robot Wars Alpha 3 on Tuesday morning (Kusuha route) so I'm playing that on and off in the Cobray route. I'm also playing Super Robot Wars Impact, Super Robot Wars Complete Box (PS remake of 2, 3, and EX with the F Final engine, and Super Robot Wars 4 Scramble (a PS remake of 4 with easier stages and some more scenes and stuff).

I'm getting Persona 3 on Wednesday, so hopefully I'll just be playing that for an extended period of time. I've been playing almost nothing but SRW since March.

I find myself playing more games here.

Well, I admit, after completing a second playthrough of Goemon's Great Adventure, I do find myself wanting to play Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon again...but that hasn't happen for now.

However, I have a hard time pulling myself from the Nintendo 64 now and revisiting one of my old games, playing Turok: Dinosaur Hunter.  Considering the company that had this game made was known for awful games, I can't help but keep on thinking, "Acclaim actually had a good game made?"  Yeah, I liked it back then and I still manage to like it now.  While the jumping aspect left something to be desire, at least it got the shooting aspect right.  I used to cheat in this game but I'm going to see if I can get through it on normal mode without those codes.  At least I passed level three (where my limit was back then without cheats).

Still playing Pokémon Diamond somewhat and did get two different teams ready.  I did battle someone online...and actually won, which surprised me.  Since there's the battling...that's also why I also ended up renting Pokémon Battle Revolution (Wii).  Mainly battling practice.  I can tell you right now...I like it but it's not $50 good.  Time to find a way to go cheaper *looks at his Gamefly account*.

P.S.  Just before someone asks me about it, I'll get it out of the way.  I find EV training to be a tedious, funless load of bull.  I don't need level grinding to be even more of a pain in the damn butt.  Sorry, but since I mentioned Pokémon battling with PBR, I had to get that out of the way.

I actually picked up Namco X Capcom (PS2) again.  I probably did that because I wanted to geek myself up for Comic Con by playing a crossover game.

Replayed Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow again on Hard Mode, thoroughly enjoying myself the whole time. Haven't gotten around to playing as Julius though, I'm not sure when I'll do that.

In the meantime, I've finally managed to start playing Final Fantasy III DS, by borrowing a siblings' copy. I feel all nostalgic grinding for Job levels again, though I wish I had WiFi connectivity so I could get the extras related to that (especially the Onion Knight Job). Oh well!

I've also been playing a bit of Final Fantasy VI Advance on the side, ironically; But that's on the back burner for now until I beat FF3DS. Gotta' say though, while some aspects of FFVI took a nasty hit when it was ported to the GBA, it's still nice playing it again after so long.

Kagetsu Tohya, technically its the sequel to Tsukihime however the story is weird and feels more like a comedy extra. Its good I got to play it though since now I understand the deal with Nanaya Shiki and Kouma.

Since its released I'm now playing Touhou 10 - Mountain of Faith. Easily one of the hardest Touhou games released thus far but its really good otherwise. My main gripe though is the way they drew Reimu >_<

Also when its ready I'll also be playing Gundemonium Recollection which is a remake of Gundemonium only with different bullet patterns and multiple playable characters.

Replaying the original Prime, in anticipation of Prime 3 of course.

Still my favourite game of all time.

Blue Dragon [WTF!!  I can't stand Toriyama's art and yet this game is amazingly fun to play] ...what, someone had to say it!

Persona 3 [It's been a while since a game's made me play in 5 hour intervals at a time...seriously it's THAT good]

I happen to be replaying Metroid Prime 2. Well, it's more like finishing because I still haven't beaten Hard Mode. I'm up to the start of Torvus Bog as of this post. I forgot how purdy the graphics are and how great the atmosphere is.

I've got Corruption. It's still sealed but I very badly want to play it. I'm too busy though. And I'm going to have to break away from all the ToP work going on to play it. Tongue

And Metroid Prime 2 is a great game that gets way too much hate.

Metroid Prime 2 is a lot like God of War II in that it's more of the same with a couple of improvements/changes to the first game. In both series' cases, more of the same is not a bad thing since the original was pretty good to begin with. I happen to like both.

Been playing the 360 version of BioShock and it really is as good as I'd hoped it would be [rant may ensue].

As is a predictably common trend with games such as this, there seem to be a large number of people reacting negatively to it, claiming it's been way overhyped (for which they'll only have themselves to blame - or they're just bitter about the PC copy protection or widescreen 'issues' ...or merely the high review scores, I wouldn't put it past 'em). To paraphrase from TweakGuides: The game is more evolutionary in its design than revolutionary (anyone expecting 'revolutionary' from any game is just asking for trouble imo). The game DOES have a few shortcomings of course (what game doesn't?), it has been somewhat easy thus far on the normal difficulty (no, I'm not abusing the Vita-Chambers - I'm currently at Farmer's Market and I've been rescuing all the Little Sisters up to that point), it's a far cry from the freakishly difficult System Shock 2. One small thing that springs to mind, I would like to have seen Little Sisters assigned to specific areas of the map rather than just having them respawn a set number of times at the nearest point to the player.

Speaking of respawning, that's another thing many people have been complaining about, I personally don't see a problem with regards to the splicers. I noticed they tend to respawn (frequently but not immediately) in any 'room' you are not occupying, so you're still given ample time to explore your environment without encountering an enemy. Throw in the relative ease of combat and the 'no death' Vita-Chambers and it ceases to pose a problem altogether imo. In fact, the respawn rate seemed to decrease in the 'Arcadia' district but that could be my imagination.

Ultimately though, I feel that none of its shortcomings detract from the experience even slightly, it's definitely met the hype in my book and I have a feeling it'll become another of my all-time favourite games (alongside the likes of Metroid Prime Wink). Great soundtrack too Smiley

In other news, I've nearly finished PW:AA ~Justice For All, the cases haven't been as compelling as in the first installment but my hopes are still high for the third. For my next DS game, I ordered Anno 1701, the reviews have been favourable and I liked the idea of an empire-building sim for the DS done well. My copy shipped a week ago but it still hasn't turned up :/

Now, at even the mere mention of BioShock, there's a good chance somebody'll come along and attempt to ruin the plot for me. So if you'll excuse me, I'm off to try and finish it...

*checks time*

...maybe tomorrow :/

And Metroid Prime 2 is a great game that gets way too much hate.

I concur!

Replaying the original Prime

Ooh, now there's a thought Smiley
