Lunar Knights SEEMS like a game I would love.. but I just haven't been able to get into it for some reason. Pacing, maybe? I'll probably give it another couple of hours to cement an opinion, but so far it's not looking so hot.

Anyway, I'm on my third game of Gurumin already. Awesome.

Sadly, that's about my sentiment so far. I play it, but while I don't really like it, I don't really dislike it either.

I just finished up Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance and Rondo of Blood, so now I'm back to translating/playing Tales of Phantasia ~FVE~ and playing a little Tales of Destiny too.

I haven't managed to squeeze in some Twilight Princess and Tales of Symphonia PS2 for the last few days since I had some focus on some other games.

Still putting in time for Oblivion.  It's so easy to get caught up in side quests in this game.  I haven't even got back into the main quest, where I'm suppose to find the heir to the throne.  Also, I'm just selling whatever I find and not planning to use them for gold.  I just want to get a horse for easy traveling.

Also being playing Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops in short burst.  The way the game handles the game's objective makes for nice short bursts sessions.  I probably spent more time gathering new soldiers that I even when out and find different access points to get more soldiers for the game.  I haven't jumped into a multiplayer match yet since I'm trying to at least get a good squad prepared.

Now I've also played Super Swing Golf (Wii).  After playing Golf on Wii Sports, I decided to try an actual golf game.  There's something about this game.  I like the mechanics, but golf was another something I was lacking in (mainly because I mess up).  Somehow, I'm not feeling relaxed playing golf.  Other than that, it's decent...when I am keeping my cool.

I'm playing Mega Man Powered Up now.. after searching about a dozen stores to find a copy of it. All I can say is "WOW!" This, this is how a remake needs to be done. I ran through most of the game last night hanging out at the coffee shop with my friends.. though I made it to the yellow rock monster and he tore me up something fierce. This is SO much better than the Mega Man X remake.. that one was basically just a graphical overhaul, to be honest (okay, so Vile was playable.. but that seemed like shameless fan service to me).

I copied some of my PC-Engine CDs to my PSP.. they work but without music, which is REALLY annoying. Oh, and the Arcade Card CDs won't load past their opening logos.. the truly angering part about that is Popful Mail is a dual CD that supports either Super or Arcade Cards but it seems to attempt to run as an AC game and freezes. Ugh. Anyway, that gives me Dynastic Hero, Monster Maker, Spriggan, Dracula X and Winds of Thunder as possible time killers on my new portable. I have some more CDs somewhere.. a lot of them are really crummy Japanese games though, like Pastel Lime.

I got both Phoenix Wright games and Trauma Center for the DS.  I'm playing Phoenix Wright now and it's pretty interesting.

Trauma Center is great (as is the Wii.. "port/remake"). Phoenix Wright is good.. but overrated. But I'm GLAD that it had been pushed up so high because it shows people are willing to play and enjoy games that differ from the current norm. Oddly enough, I don't think the game would've sold as well had it been released on the GBA.. I think the DS itself with its new twists on things is opening people up to enjoy games like this.

I'm in the final parts of SMT: Nocturne but I decided to take a break and start Final Fantasy XII. After a little over 8 hours of nonstop playing, I can say that I'm definitely liking it so far. Best since VI, easily.

Well... ask me in about 20 years, when FF21 is finally released. ;)

Anyway, I don't really have a sound opinion on those yet. Vaan's a bit whiny but Balthier appears to be all kinds of awesome. Story is entertaining me but I couldn't really tell you if that means it's good or bad...

Speaking of story... I just got back into Legendia (feel free to slap me)... although I stopped now because the guy from whom I'm borrowing a PS2 from is done with his finals and walked out the door with his PS2 on his early spring break... The story just got good too... I just left the Quiet/Fallen Lands and am in Mirage Palace. Learned about Senel and Vaclav's connection and all that. Real intriguing...

Now I'm stuck with my GCN, so I think I'll pick up Symphonia again... I was planning to finish my third and final playthrough over my spring break anyway... in the mean time got a final on Thursday to study for...

I'm playing Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin.  I may never finish this game.  There is SO MUCH to do in it.  The completionist in me is both overjoyed and frightened.  I have no idea how long it's going to take me to get everything.  Fun game though.  After this, I only have Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow left and I'll have played all of the games in the "official timeline".  Yay.

Speaking of story... I just got back into Legendia (feel free to slap me)...

If anyone is deserving of a slap, it's me, not you.  In fact, it's not a slap that should come my way, it's a beating.  I mean, I'm the punk that's too dumb to realize that Tales of Legendia is...*refrain from swearing* pure garbage and Tales of the Abyss is the greatest Tales there ever was.

Yeah, I'm still not over my whole, "I'm a douchebag that thinks Tales of Legendia wasn't so bad" and "I'm a moron that thinks Tales of the Abyss was horrible and horrible enough that I rather play Tales of Legendia again."  Certainly, you aren't someone that should get what's coming.

Anyway, I haven't been playing much.  Just threw in some multiplayer Starcraft with friends over here via LAN connection.  At least I'm finally getting better with that game.

Also been playing random NES games since I have it connected for the time being (My sister just gave it to me but there was no proper AC Adaptor).  I somehow got too into using my NES Advantage controller (that NES joystick).

After this week, I will finally get back to my normal games I'm playing.  Crazy two weeks kept me away from my normal Now Playing list.

I don't think Legendia deserves to be called pure garbage... Not getting into any arguments, I'm just going to say that Legendia isn't completely bad. If it was, I wouldn't be playing it. The story is mostly what's compelling me to play it right now, so that's one thing Legendia has going for it.

O_O I uh, actually liked Legendia alot. Erm, enough to put 85 hours into it and beat the game along with completing all of the sidequests. I'm not sure why most people say it's so bad. I thought it was similar to ToE in a few ways, such as the combat system and not many skits (though ToE had none, unless I missed something completely). I loved the story and characters, I started playing it again after beating Eternia. I felt like it was Eternia without the 2d charm, but with a better story/characters and voice acting. I don't know whether I liked it better than Symphonia because I beat Symphonia in 6 days (I did most sidequests too) and I can't even remember some parts of it. I need to play it again more thoroughly. However, I do know I enjoyed Legendia more than most PS2 RPGs I've played, I feel it is definetely one of the better PS2 JRPGs available. On a side note, I thought TotA was excellent, my favorite Tales game by little bit. Then again, I love all the Tales games with a passion. If Cless Aileron gets a beating, I don't want to think about what would become of poor ol' me. Sad

Eternia did have skits... in the Japanese version. The American version just kept the skits that tell you where to go next, IIRC. Press Select on the world map to see them.
