I'm halfway through Sora's story in Kingdom Hearts: ReChain of Memories. Winnie the Pooh's world is... just as annoying as ever to me. however, it made me think. if you were to take Sora's keyblade, shove it into Pooh's mouth, and cast fire, would he explode with blood and organs.... or catch on fire with a lot of stuffed animal fluff?
Started playing Dissidia again for some reason. Not the best spin-off, but not the worse. I'm starting to play as the spellcasters more, like Terra and Kuja. i already mastered Onion Knight, so i wanted different peoples lol.
I need to start my playthrough of FFVI sometime soon... just saying.

You know that a Dissidia 2 might be coming? I hope to see Gilgamesh as a playable character...

Square calls those "International Versions" typically, and apparantly they're talking about both one of those AND a sequel type thing ala X-2
I believe you're referring to Final Fantasy Agito XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII which have been announced a long time back.

I used to main Cecil in that. After playing it again I've pretty much gone to using Kuja, he's a great character to play as it. Only problem is... it's Kuja... >_<

Currently playing FFXIII, just finished chapter 11 but I'm spending some time doing missions and such before I move onto Chapter 12. I just unlocked a Chocobo so I'm having a grand time

actually, they might be referring to this article. they were talking about how they could use the battle system, and just change the story to be a sequel or something like that. just idle conversation, but could turn into something.

Seraphic Star has it's uses but it's nowhere near as good as Flare Star. Ultima is his best HP move but its pretty easy to dodge. The idea is to use when an opponent is unable to move. (Such as when the Warrior of Light is in the middle of performing Shield of Light.)
Once they're hit, they can't escape, even if they EX Cancel.
Alternate, force the opponent into seeing a close up of Kuja's G-String, they'll immediately forfeit, granting you supreme victory!

all i can say to that is a simple "YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" i finally got ultima, and figured out it's awesomeness and dodge-ability. all in all, Kuja's fun to play as.

Currently in Ch. 9 of FF 13 over at a friend's. The game is pretty easy so far, looking forward to this supposed difficulty spike.

I'm still playing Final Fantasy XIII. I'm still loving it. Now, I just need that Growth Egg and start grinding.
Also, and it's not just a coincidence I decided to change my avatar and add subtitles under it after April Fools and that I'm now playing
Batman: Arkham Asylum
on PS3. Since I'm able to screw around as the Joker on the challenge map since I went Playstation 3 here, I decided to give him a try. He's pretty much just cosmetic to Batman's fighting, so even though it's a nice bonus, I wouldn't say you should get the PS3 version just for playable Joker. Though I did enjoy the novelty of playing as him and just being...crazy.
Funny thing is...I'm exploiting my Gamefly subscription getting Batman (for $20 in order to keep the rental) and I'm looking to do the same with Infamous on PS3 if everything goes right (i.e. They actually send me Infamous). After that...maybe I'll see just how bad people say Star Ocean 4 is.
Well, I am building my PS3 library in a way.

TBH, I think the XBOX 360 version is quite good after it's fashion. It's not the same kind of story telling as previous entries in the series, which is what seems to be what's giving it a bad rap more than anything.
As for the battle system... sure, you can get away with just "mashing the action button", especially since it's retardedly easy to fill the bonus board with EXP+... IMO, SP+ is the hardest to fill it with, and even that is darned easy if you know what to look for in enemy pathing and can figure out how to manipulate said pathing. However, the battle system is quite enjoyable when you start actually using the variations you get out of which way you point the character while doing the basic attack, using the Blindsides, and using Rush Mode. Yes, you hardly NEED to use those things to win even 99% of boss battles, but they sure do make battles more interesting.
OK, so back to the story... Yes, it's a different style from previous entries in the series, it's slower paced, more introspective than active. If you can't handle that kind of story, then just don't even touch it. Me, I love it. But I've been a true speculative fiction reader for longer than I've been a gamer, and that kind of story pacing is common in many of the speculative genres. Science Fiction, Fantasy (High more than Modern), Mystery (especially the classics)...
...
Uh... anyways... guess I should give an update on the games I've been playing recently?
Obviously, SO4, also Tales of Vesperia, and that's it on the new consoles. I'm also playing Soul Calibur 2, .hack//Mutation, and Tales of Symphonia on older consoles, on the PC I'm playing Beyond Good and Evil and as for MMO's I'm currently involved in varying degrees in Shards of Dalaya, Fantasy Earth Zero, and Mabinogi. And the backlog is much, much too large to try mentioning anything else.
I have a tendency to dally about in several games at once without actually getting very far in any of them. They really are just idle past-time for me and it depends on my mood what I pick up, or if I pick any of them up at all, sometimes my mood dictates that I go try to find some -real- people to hang out with. GASP.

Buying FF13 after I'm done buying all the games from my "Wanted games of the PS2/GC era". I missed out on some gems and it's not too late for me to get them.
