They have an F-Zero arcade game?

Uh... yeah. Didn't see all that propaganda on the back of the manual?

Nope. Well....that's what expected when one just skims through the manual for the sake of finding other ways to earn tickets. Chapter 3 kicks my ass! And I'm enjoying it.

Sonic CD + Custom Soundtrack= Win.

I switched some songs for their Japanese counterparts. I love this one the most: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6QGYYGWCGc

I have that theme stuck in my head all day and yesterday. It really relaxes one...

Man, the final dungeon in FFXIII is a huuuuuuuuuuge drag. Many of the regular encounters here are harder than the damn bosses. Many of the fights take over 5 minutes to complete.  Bang Head

You can do it, pal!

I'm now on case 4 of Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, and I'm having a blast with this game. I've only gotten really stuck about 3 times (because I had a thought process failure), but I feel really proud of myself for not looking at any guides, which is what normally happens when I play an Ace Attorney game. Feels like the writing flows better in this one too, maybe in part because Edgeworth is indeed a Logical fellow who knows where it's at; Pun intended... not to mention the obvious effort put into the localisation. I hope we get to see these gameplay mechanics in another Ace Attorney game~

After I finish this game, I'll try and see if Lameboy DS can run Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon or Metal Gear: Ghost Babel well enough to be played on there.

I beat SRW Alpha 3 again today. That was my...sixth time, I believe. Started over once again (this time on Kusuha's route which I haven't done since Playthrough 1), with all the New Game+ bonuses (inherited PP/money), and in addition since I'm playing in Special Mode I get 2-3 of each equippable part (yes, this includes Haros) and 9 each of the consumables, which I just sell because I never use them.

I think I'll jump back to MX (third playthrough). Just wish I could skip through the Rom Stol speeches like I could in Impact. I've seen it already, no need to say them EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Finished Final Fantasy XIII. I give it 4/5. Again, I don't take much issue with some of the big problems other people have with it (mainly for dropping some "traditional" elements...the game was designed to work just fine without them, and it made Pulse a much more mysterious and interesting place.). It does have some polish issues, but if they refine these and make things a bit more open all-around like in Chapter 11, the currently-being-considered FFXIII-2 could easily be a 5/5 game to me.

Now, I don't know if I should bother with the post-game, or wait and see what they do with the inevitable International version. It makes little sense for the one they make for this game to at least not have a full English (voice AND text) option, like the one they did for FFX.

FFXIII-2? Square's thinking about making some sort of Director's Cut version of FFXIII?

Square calls those "International Versions" typically, and apparantly they're talking about both one of those AND a sequel type thing ala X-2

Oh. Anyway, I'm REALLY starting to hate Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier for a few reasons. This game is worth a 7 out of 10(now that I got the new game and J&D fan bliss out of me).

1. Jak's spin kick is really broken. It can put the enemy in an infinite combo.

2. The story needed a lot of work. For example, you meet Skyheed but after the whole "we gotta get the Eco Seeker" he's pretty much non-existent until he comes back and he's all "lol, I'm the bad guy".

3. Game's too short, which contributes to number 2.

4. Dark Daxter is pointless. You only have 3 short segments as himin the whole game. They might as well have those parts play out like in Daxter if they're gonna be this brief.

5. Those quicktime events in which you have to stop missles from blowing up the Phantom Blade after getting Light Eco. When it gets to the part where Daxter has to jump over the fire, either the game doesn't respond to the button press or it comes and goes too quick for you to make a reaction. And for whatever reason, that's the only part where this is happening.

6. The flying. It's bullet hell...and not the fun kind like Giga Wing. And Daxter's repairs barely help. It would be nice if the game had a few power-ups tht fix your ship. It's REALLY annoying when there's so much crap coming at you during the final battle.

If there's another J&D coming, please let either Naught Dog or Ready at Dawn be the developer...

Now jumping into Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey. It's damn awesome so far, and even seems to use a modified Etrian Odyssey engine. It does all the mapping automatically, though. Game is VERY promising, and might even beat out the EO games (aside from soundtrack) in the end. We'll see...

Speaking of MegaTen, I just finished my third playthrough of Persona 4. I'm gonna start over in Raidou Kuzunoha 2: Raidou Vs. King Abbadon and hope I can like it...

And what's more is that Persona 5 is on the way!  http://www.siliconera.com/2010/03/24/we-are-preparing-to-start-work-on-the-next-persona/

I wonder what will be added this time around...

And I got Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando. 4th game I got this month. I'll play when I beat the first R&C.

(Dammit!  I posted this message in the wrong topic and just realized it when reading this topic!  Well, Duskshark caught it before I did!  How embarrassing of me but thanks for pointing it out!)

After owning Gears of War 2 since December 2008, I finally killed off my backlog run on gag!  (The whole reason it became my personal run on gag was because I actually spent an entire weekend with my friend going through the first Gears of War and all we needed was an entire weekend.  Yet here I am, beating Gears of War 2 alone and it's March 2010).

Now, I can move onto something like, say...Metal Gear Solid 4.

P.S.  Cless is right about Nolan North being the new Johnny Yong Bosch.  I saw Nolan North's name listed as one of the voice actor for Gears of War.  Geez, if I play Resonance of Fate, I just hope I don't start typecasting North as Nathan Drake.

I finally completed Ace Attorney Investigation: Miles Edgeworth. Excellent game, and well worth buying. Didn't really like some of the gratuitous cameos, though; They must seem awfully confusing for people who haven't played any of the first three Ace Attorney games (Spoilers for all cases: Maggey's cameo was completely pointless, Meekins not so much; and poor Ema didn't get a chance to shine, would've been better just bringing in the Forensics NPC instead. Larry and Oldbag though, they were alright. Cheesy).

I'm not sure what I'll move onto next. Perhaps Narikiri Dungeon 1 or Metal Gear: Ghost Babel. We'll see.
