Remember my topic on the old PP forums where I talked about a Star Wars game made by Namco?  If you thought that was a weird Star Wars-related thing, maybe this would make that Namco Star Wars game seem normal.

Darth Vader and Yoda in Soul Calibur IV.

Namco Star Wars?  No longer weird.  And I doubt the Soul Calibur fighters' blades are made from that metal that can clash with light sabers (I only remember something like that from Knights of the Old Republic).

Is it just me or is Soul Calibur really getting obsessed with cameo/special guest fighters?

People like references, what can I say. Sells those extra copies.

I really wish they'd go back to the Soul _____ naming convention though ever since SCII, so I can call it the Soul series proper ('cause nobody knows Blade/Edge). I miss seeing new names.

Touché, gogs.  I'm not actually complaining myself saying that.  However, there are some people are crying foul over Yoda and Vader's "misplacement" despite that Link, Spawn, and Heihachi themselves were misplaced in Soul Calibur II.  Then again, some Nintendo fans are still crying foul over Snake's inclusion to Smash Bros Brawl.

Oh yeah, I have played the arcade Soul Edge as a kid.  I guess the Soul Calibur name pretty much upstaged the Soul Edge name that people forget (Most likely because of the perfect score Soul Calibur on the Dreamcast got all over the place).

I think I can help with that.

*waves hand in front of Infoseeker in a "I'm using the force" motion*  You will play as Darth Vader.   Cheesy
