Monster Hunter 2 English Translation Patch

i was wondering if i am the only one who would like a MH2 english patch.

No clue if it's been discussed before...i trolled the forum a little bit and i didn't see anything so i posted this

AND: if there actually IS a patch already, pls share it!!!

Well while I can identify with your desire for a translation of MH2, such a freaking good game, I'm not sure there are many people here who can help out. While it is true that Cless's ToP and ToD2 projects are the only two of their kind, this forum is mostly dedicated to these two projects. Cless does have some very interesting FAQs on the subject of game hacking and translating though. For now I think you are stuck with MHF2 on PSP. Good game, though the fact that it doesn't have true online kind of ruins the reason why I loved MH in the first place. Though for the record I have very little involvement in the community here and others might have a different opinion about helping you out.

I've never played a Monster Hunter game, so I can't really imagine starting a project on it.

Tales-based projects suck enough life out of me.

Isn't that mainly an online game? If so, a patched version wouldn't get past DNAS to be useful.

Regardless, this is a Tales fansite, and all the translation projects are for Tales games. You're not really going to find people wanting to tackle a non-Tales game here when none of the current projects are completed, and Phantasia's been on the priority list for almost a decade.

Tales games translation patch is TOP-NOTCH in this site so MH2 must just go home 

If only games like that was translated and released in the first place others people would live longer life
