What is a good modchip that doesn't require soldering, a disc to use and easy to install?

what console do you want it for? And I've never heard of a "good" modchip that needs a disc after it's been soldered in. Unless you mean chips that DON'T require any soldering.

If you have a Slim PS2 you don't need a mod chip. Just buy a Swap Magic disk and use the straw and tissue method. I think there was a link on that posted somewhere.

I have swap magic but it not reading my Swap Magic CD and barely reads my Swap Magic DVD. What more, the thing that holds the button (the button that keeps the disc spinning. The one where you place in the back) down lost it's stickyness.

Get a matrix infinity chip. Probably the best there is.

Yeah but I'd rather not use a modchip that requires soldering.
