MGS4 Online Beta next week

If you preordered MGS4 from gamestop, chances are you might get a special DVD containing trailers and other cinematics from the metal gear series. Inside the case there's a code that you can use to obtain the free online beta starting April 17th.

I preordered it, when it was released I went to EB and they said they never even heard of the game. Went to another store to ask about it an they claimed it was sold out, so I told them to ring another store about it, they said they had it. Went to that store and again they claimed they never heard of it.

So I gave up and just imported the game. It was worth it at least!

yeah. That's what I hate about having Region coding. Games are more expensive in Some places than they are in others. Thank god it's legal to bypass region coding here in australia.

I was told that it was mandatory for all dvd players sold in australia had to be fitted with a region free chip of sorts. But that obviously doesn't count for videogames consoles. Especially now that the ps3 and xbox 360 are region free with most games.

Without offence to any game distributers, that sucks
