LOL, another port. This time, it's La Pucelle's turn. All I know is that animation skipping is a go.

Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdUW_CtSKag

Oh look! It's our lovable trio from Disgaea! Is it me or do these three get into EVERY NIS title? The only NIS game I played was Disgaea.
Comments anyone?

The dark portal system is what mainly killed the PS2 game for me. I just found it incredibly cumbersome to exploit, and I've never felt the results were worth the effort unless the stage was huge and effortless to figure out. Maybe I just didn't "get it." There's also the fact that the animations made everything incredibly SLOW. The addition of skipping them may certainly help things.

I still wanted to see the story though--seemed like it had potential.

Disgaea 1 trio in every game they ever make now has gotten a little old, and isn't much of a surprise or anything to get excited about anymore. Just make a damn game with them as central characters again!

Add a Disgaea 2 trio: Adell, Rozalin and Tink? Or a Disgaea 3 trio of Mao, Almaz and Raspberyl?

Moar stuff:
• Four chapter Demon Prier storyline.
• Ability to skip battle animations.
• Ability to skip cutscenes.
• New spells and skills.
• Fully voiced.

P.S: What's the Dark Portal system?

I might get it. I never did everything in La Pucelle. I think I just got fed up with how slow everything was (I love skipping animations!), and finished the game.

I wonder if it's going to be based on the JP Director's Cut of the PS2 version, with the Super-Baal and New Game+ and all that.
