This is the one that apparently has the Chain of Memories remake right?

Yeah. I hear the CoM remake is what the + is for. The full title being "Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix +"

Since this is probably coming out here, I think it'd be awesome if they made it a THREE disc set and put Kingdom Hearts I Final Mix in with it. It's only a very minor upgrade from our version of KH1, but it'd be a nice gesture and would make for one hell of a collector's set.

Check out www.kh2.co.uk for pictures.

It's essentially the exact same game thrust into the visual presentation of the PS2 games. There's supposed to be minor refinements to the battles and such, but it's still very much true to the original from what's been said.

I'll be picking this up just so I can check out this CoM remake.  The original CoM was a great story, but it got tiring.  In any case, I've been interested in this since it was first announced.

Well, if the original Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix is any indication of things to come, then all of the spoken stuff will be in English anyway.  So assuming that you've played the original KHII and Chain of Memories, I can't imagine that you won't be able to piece things together...

Plus, any added scenes (if not voiced) will probably be translated online within hours of the game's release. Still, with how big the series is here, it's coming out here. Don't take Final Mix I as a release indicator, that was more of an upgrade for the Japanese market since the US version already had most of that new stuff in it already.

I'll be interested to see if it comes out.  No doubt KHII's popularity was pretty staggering.  The series has only gotten more popular as time has gone on.  But at the same time, the US doesn't often get re-releases of games.  You just don't see the kind of thing that you do with Japan where they might be 4 different releases of a game over time (Tales of Phantasia).  US gamers get the original release, and then the Greatest Hits price reduction.  But hey, I wouldn't complain if they released it here.

Well, Square released Chronicles and Anthology here, but Anthology had FFV on it which hadn't been released here before that.

Actually, some games get "upgraded" when they go to Greatest Hits here. Virtual Fighter 4, Metal Gear Solid 2, Midnight Club 3 and Devil May Cry 3 are a few that come to mind.

Yeah, you're right about that.  I'm not saying it doesn't happy, just that it's a lot more rare for games to be released multiple times in the US than it is in Japan.

Final Mix has an English Option?? The GBA Remake too??
If yes, I might as well sell my non-Final Mix copy and import it when it's avaiable
