Anyway, its an Action RPG so I have high hopes for this game.

The soundtrack to this game sounds amazing so far.. I don't know if I want to wait for the game to come out here or if I want to immediately grab a game-rip once it's released in Japan.

Yeah, amazing soundtrack so far. Different from the typical Square-Enix stuff.

You know, I'm really looking forward to this game, especially as the grunt work is not necessarily Nomura's area of involvement (sorry, I'm not a fan of Nomura >.<).

It's being developed by his team.. so who knows. I love his work on Kingdom Hearts, HATE his work on Final Fantasy (though, to be honest.. the new character designer is far worse). I'm still interested in Final Fantasy XIII Versus.. if only because it looks to be the same gameplay style as Kingdom Hearts. Hopefully it's not TOO sickeningly self-indulgent (which is basically what Final Fantasy is all about these days).

Anyway, that Japanese-singing-English song at the end is oddly catching.. or perhaps it's just the fascination with the absurdity of it. It sounds like gibberish and I can't make out much of the first part.. but the second part is "Is it angels? Is it devils? Whispering in my ears. Is it emotions? Is it illusions? I need to be with you."

Yeah, it's being designed by his team, but his role is sort of weak. He's only serving as Producer and Main character designer.

These are the people involved in the core game, responsible for getting it made and leading its development, they have been involved in various FF and KH titles in the past:

So yeah, as I don't like Nomura that much, it's definitely upped my interest a lil bit.

Same for me. And I'm pretty sure the overall art style including the edgy style of the characters (while still having a Nomura flair) is actually by Gen Kobayashi who's so far credited for character design next to Nomura.
