I lost my DS over the weekend, I left it at a restaurant. I'm not even sure why I took it in with me.. but alas. I'm going back to check after work as it appears lost items are handled on a manager-specific basis and the manager from that night wasn't in when I checked yesterday. There's also a small chance I didn't leave it there but instead left it in a friend's car.. also checking tonight.

If it's indeed gone I lost with it a case, Riviera, Legend of Starfy 4, Jump Ultimate Stars, Children of Mana and Deep Labyrinth. Monetarily that's all easily replaceable.. I'm more ticked off by some of the time I had put into these games. I already decided I wouldn't replace Jump as the though of doing all the single-player stuff again is disenchanting and Riviera.. man, I loved that game but it's SO slow-paced I'm not sure if I'd really appreciate going through it again (I was assumedly nearing the end).

On the plus side, I now have an excuse to get that black DS Lite. Smiley

Sucks. Reminds me of when my friend left one of his CD folders somewhere. Had two of his Wii games (Twilight Princess & Wii Sports), some GCN games, and some PS2 games... I should actually check up on that and ask if he found it...

Well, it's gone. I checked the restaurant again and it wasn't in my friend's car.

The worst part about this is that EVERYWHERE is sold out of DS Lites. What the hell..? Angry

DS was all the rage during Christmas. Guess those who missed it are still snapping it up.

But yeah, I'd pretty damned miffed I suddenly lost my DS and a bunch of games. I wouldn't be able to afford to replace it all right away...

I would scream if I were to lose my DS since video game stores down under really are unreliable.

Sucks you lost Riviera though. It is very slow paced yes, but being near the end and losing it does stink.

I'm probably going to wait until a Circuit City gets them back in stock since I have a coupon to be used for there. I still have two GBAs so I've got portable gaming covered until then. I might pick up Hotel Dusk when I can though since that sounds like it may be one of those sleeper hits that ends up missing from shelves for a while.

I FINALLY found a DS at a Blockbuster.. I was hesitant to pick it up because I'm pretty sure they don't have a great return policy.. but these things are so hard to find nowadays I picked it up. Sure enough.. there's a little speck of dust under the screen (at least, I think.. it's too small to be a stuck pixel). Sigh.

But I got Castlevania and Hotel Dusk for my birthday, so that helps a little.

Sucks you lost it. I did that with my GBA SP once and I'm still kicing myself for it (mostly the games and the progress I made in them - it's horrible to start over, even if you do get the games again)

If you get into it, how is hotel dusk? Specificaly, are the characters/story engaging?
