In a week and a half, I get paid. And I really need a new TV. I've done some research and I've narrowed it down to two TVs I'm looking at for gaming/movies:

26" for $399.99
32" for $499.99

I guess what I'm trying to ask is.... Is the 6 extra inches worth it for 100 bucks more, in the long run? Or heck, what HD TV did you guys buy (and for how much, if you don't mind my asking)? I'm ready to be a stingy bitch, and go with the $399 one. But I'll be sticking with this TV for awhile, and I don't want any regrets. I'm losing my mind, and have even flipped a coin 10 times just deciding. I still haven't decided. LOL!

Bigger is always better when it comes to HD.

technically, you're getting 47% more viewing area for 25% more dineros... not sure if that makes it worth it to you or not, but just putting it out there.

My 46" Samsung looks quite a bit bigger than my dad's 42" Philips, for some reason.

It depends on how close you sit to the TV. The closer you sit, the smaller the screen. I have a 32" Samsung in my bedroom and it works quite nicely, although it is a 1080p display.

it's only 720p.

The bigger the screen is, the more pixelated it will look.
