Just picked it up today, the game is awesome! Anyone else get a chance to play the third title in the Golden Sun series?

It's not out in my country yet, but it's certainly one of the most anticipated titles of the year for me! Very much looking forward to acquiring the game and playing it! I hear it's still a bit needlessly wordy like the previous entries in the series, but has made some good improvements nonetheless (like the encyclopaedia.)

Hope you guys enjoy the game! I'm sure I will when I get to play it too. Cheesy

I don't get my copy until Friday, but I've been waiting for a new Golden Sun for years. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I will.

Don't have my copy yet. I only just pre-ordered mine from play-asia. Hopefully it'll arrive soon.

Beaten it. Haven't finished the the optional dungeon yet though since I want to get the Tisiphone Edge first. ... At this rate I may never beat him =|

As for the main game... it felt really underwhelming compared to the first two games. On its own its pretty great, but compared to its older brothers, it falls a bit short. I suppose my biggest problem are the dungeons. A lot of them a far too short and only take 5 minutes to complete =(

I felt a bit different because I sometimes thought dungeons in GS and TLA (mostly TLA) went on for too long. I also beat the game and all the optional content and my biggest "complaint" is that the game is easy, which of course so were GS and TLA so it's not that big of a problem.

Personally I thought the dungeons had a perfect length in TLA. Hell, even Air's Rock.

Also yeah the game's easy. Even moreso than the other two. The only point of the game that I actually found somewhat difficult was the final boss. But that was because he kept spamming Psy Grenades and I lacked any items to restore PP >_>

I was a tad upset that this one felt like more of a "prologue" to a bigger event, more than anything. It was basically "get sidetracked: the RPG" up until the eclipse. Then, they threw all this cool stuff about Dark Adepts, the Tuaparang, and Arcanus' incredibly obvious identity at you right at the end... and then it ended with the gigantic Psynergy Vortex (was it the Mourning Moon?) near Sol Sanctum.

The gameplay was still great, though. I'm certain that the inevitable 3DS sequel will be great.
