that's sort of right and wrong, i think. it's not really that if i go through hard work to get somewhere, so should everyone else trying to do the same thing... in fact, science is pretty much based on exchanging ideas and information with each other to progress. but in this case, it's sort of an entrance exam, i guess -- if you NEED the tools to start your own competing project, you probably don't have any business starting such a project in the first place. if you can do it yourself, i suppose you may at least be qualified to start a competing project, though it would really make more sense to collaborate with the existing project if possible.

such a tool would certainly help others who would want to start on non-tales projects that haven't been touched before, but that use the same format, though. that dislaire and others are screwed out of a useful tool is an unfortunate side effect, but a necessary one, i suppose.

Oh, I didn't mean it quite like that. Certainly I agree that the exchange of ideas is an important part of developing communities and creating a better way of working on these sorts of projects. My main point was just that neither Cless nor anyone else has any obligation to share their ideas. In the end, it's up to the person who develops the tools to decide whether they want to distribute them or not. I certainly didn't mean to imply that all romhacking work should be done from scratch, otherwise what good would years of community work have been? I suppose the points sound rather contradictory when put like that, but I hope that at least my main point comes across.

throughhiùm,you say things that have no sense.i didn't say that cless or anyone else have obligation to give their tools.i just asked that's all.and if he doesn't want,it's sad,but he makes what he wants.i'm not very good at hacking, and i'll never suucced to make a tool like that.he makes the tool,he works a lot and i don't have to be angry with him.he makes wonderful things with this tool because he's very good at this.i just wanted to change some musics which i find totally horrible, and put original phantasy star online musics.it's not a project,i will never try to make a tool for few musics, and even if i wanted,i'm sure i'll never succeed to do this tool.

so cless doesn't want,it's sad but it's like that.stop saying i'm pestering(you tell that many persons are pestering cless for his tools in my topic,so i'm pestering for his tools) because i've just asked.

Good continuation, cless, because it's awesome what you did,and i wished i were as smart as you

sorry for my (crappy) english,i'm just a french collegian.
