No kidding, PS3 was never really a concern to me, but now its totally non existent.

That SO4 trailer looks absolutely amazing, 4 ppl parties ftw.On top of that, beautiful graphics omg....
And now FF13 gets a port....wow, I think the wii has lost. With TOV looking better and better, FF13 port and SO4....well the only way wii is better is in prices

Nintendo is in it's own strange little place. It's sold more consoles then xbox and ps3 combined but it's good games are too few and far between. So in terms of there game line up they could be seen as the looser but in console sales it could be viewed as the clear winner. So really nintendo is getting all this money from it's hardware and first party games but third party developers aren't getting much out of the wii.

So in terms of there game line up they could be seen as the looser but in console sales it could be viewed as the clear winner. Third party's are selling well.

The conference was disappointing though, but it's not as if there aren't games. Just on the DS area they could hype a lot of gamers with a video montage of existing known RPG's, I mean, they're coming in rows for it. but they didn't. Wii... they have games coming out, like Wario Land 4 and Fatal Frame 4, that weren't even shown. What were they thinking.

It might compensate a little if any FFXIII fans care at all XD

edit: I wanted Rune Factory on the DS .... for some reason I never stepped up to buy it.  And now  Rune Factory 2 is confirmed for English XD

Finally, Nintendo mentions they're working on the next Pikmin in some private conference. I can't say that has me super excited (never played any of the previous ones) but, at least Nintendo's E3 isn't a complete disaster anymore.

What I want is a new mainline Metroid or Zelda game (especially a Zelda utilizing the new attachment).

There was a news post on Kotaku saying that new Zelda games were being worked on for the Wii and the DS.  Nothing about Metroid, but the post also mentioned that a new Mario game was being worked on for the Wii, too.
