Unfortunately deleting his account (with posts included) didn't delete his PMs. I sent a warning to everyone...

Yeah, this forum has an option that notifies of PMs by email (and includes the body). I think it's enabled by default. That's probably what you got.

As its legality is questionable I won't provide it directly Google for "scph1001.bin" or "scph7502.bin".

Glad that got taken care of, I clicked one of the spam threads before I realized what was going on.  That was a little bit of an uneeded shock for today.  I also found it rather amusing when I had an e-mail titled Tales of Forum: Porn Warning.  Hopefully the new PM policy should keep that from happening again.

I should have looked into that warning when I found that I got a PM.  I'm just glad no one was in my room when I looked at it and that it didn't end up getting absolutely worse.

ARGH. I accidentally saw part of it too. >_< Clicked on the "New Message" link and the PM turned up on the next page so I saw part of the image before I could delete the PM.

I should have thought to go to my Inbox instead... I really didn't need even more mental scarring than I've already got.

Is there anyway you can turn off the automatic emails from PMs, I'd still like to get news from the PP team if anything comes up, though i still look over the forum, I'd just rather not have to see anything like that again.

When you edit your profile, there's an option on the right that says "Personal Message Optionss" where you can turn off e-mails for new private messages. I think you'll still get updates from PP if that is turned off.
