TABLE SCRAPS!
Looks like an enhanced port (Final Fantasy GBA-style) if the Millennial Fair screenshot is any indication, which is a shame. A full-on 3D remake like FF4DS would be nice, but I suppose that's too much work for Squeenix and like half the Chrono Trigger fanbase would be blindly antagonistic to the idea anyway.
I can't believe I'm still going to end up playing this after it hits the shelves, I've been wanting to replay CT.

Leaked Jump scans apperantly showed the game (also confirmed along with it are Suikoden VI PSP, Tales of Heart DS, Tales of the World: RM 2 PSP)
Take with a grain of salt...

WHAT Suikoden VI PSP? Have they lost their minds!?
As for Radiant Mythology 2... I don't care... I don't even think it should have a sequel >_< won't buy.
Tales of the Heart... meh, they didn't even bring Tales of Innocence over so meh.

Well the Suikoden part seems to have been debunked, just another damned rumor =(
The rest of it is still true though, I believe.

Agreed. The PSP Suikoden remakes' sales were abysmally low, do they really think a brand new Suikoden title for the PSP will sell? It must be just a rumor. -__-
And I'll end up playing Tales of the Heart in japanese anyway... unless something like
this
happens. Either way is fine by me.
As for CT DS... I'll pass. Never liked the original anyway.

Not really, PS2 only has III, IV, Tactics and V. There isn't a Suikoden VI yet.

Im excited about CT, for some reason, I freakin love that game to death. And I don't even know why
Hopefully RM will show some promise. I like the first one, but It felt too slow sometimes.
And ive seen what the psp is capable of....they should be able to do a little better than RM1, imo...

Yeah, I've always had the feeling that Square are a bit scared of Chrono Trigger. They made a game so neat and perfectly formed that they don't want to risk messing it up, which is why we've never seen a proper remake. Similar story with Final Fantasy VII, except for the fact that I for one think FF7 was actually pretty flawed and could benefit with a retranslation at the very least.
Either way, I fully intend to be buying this. All I need to know is if there's finally going to be European release this time around. If so, I might as well wait for it so I've got the best chance of getting some use out of the wireless play and maybe benefit from some late bugfixes. If not, then I'll just import the US version.

oh god yes. graphics aren't everything, but good god FF7's are terrible. specifically, of course, the lego models on the maps. even if they were to do a remake on DS, i would hope they improve the map models, a lot.

Man, I love that game alot (though I still need to go and get all the extra endings).
I'm not sure I'll get it on the DS, but I'm glad it's finally getting the first re-release in years (as opposed to the million of FFI and FFII releases).
RM2... from what I understand, the original is supposed to be mediocre, and they don't even have the characters I like (Cless, and the ToP crew).
If they do make a Suikoden VI for the PSP, then my friend will be ecstatic (me, I haven't gotten far even in the first one; got myself into a dead-end, with lots of backtracking involved to get what I need to proceed).
