Apparently... yes.

I just hope that doesn't hinder my non-japanese release. In a way, for a company that we haven't heard of for ages this seems to be a attempt at a comeback (perhaps in a way, like the first final fantasy was for Square?), with the talent they recruited, visuals they're aiming for and all. But yeah.

"Game's graphic will have a pencil effect to them, cel shading"

That is my favourite piece of info on this game Grin Is there any info on the consoles this will be on?

Just searched on google. It looks like it's coming out on the Wii (leaping for joy now). Oh google, you are my only friend.

Wii (you googled it, I know)

Jeez, don't know how I forgot. I brought the info from other forum where there's usually let a [Wii] tag before the name, but here we don't use tags so... oh well. forgot to properly identify it. But the first scan kinda give it away  Tongue

Most of my topics for games on the general section are Wii ones though, I find it worthwhile since most of them would go unoticed otherwise, and this is kind of an RPG forum after all.

I'm very glad it's a Wii game too, really hope it gets released outside japan (or rather, it has to be Smiley)

Well thanks for the news on this game.

I really like the fact that they are trying to make the game look good. I'm really starting to get annoyed with all the "It's not always about the graphics!" statements. While this is true I never actually heard this very much until nintendo released the wii.

Sorry for the double post but I wanted to bump the topic when I posted this.

Apparently  they have the main site for this game up now.

http://kizuna-game.jp/

By the way, FLASH SITES SHOULD DIE!

EDIT: Here's another tidbit about the site. There is a timer in the top left corner. This timer tells you how much time you have to view the supper secret info (basically everything revealed in the magazine scans) before it boots you out.

stumbled upon screenshots, not scans Cheesy

here they are:

Artwork:

Seems like the pencil effect is more literal than I initially thought (thought it was only cell shading) instead, it's very Valkyria Chronicles'ish. WANT.

It looks more like the style of the cut scenes in the psp port of Final fantasy tactics to me.

This game looks very sketchy, but I will get it because looks like a very decent game for Wii. Any release date yet for JP?
