Will see videos some time later...

But anyway... I'm starting to feel guilty that I was all for Fragile while ARF was left to Ignition. ._.

Is the dub really that bad? >_<;;  Lux-Pain had good VA, why not this? >_> ...

"People are going to love this."
Combat looks fun, pretty fast-paced for a turn-based system.

Maybe someone will retranslate the potential HD port. NMH sold better on 360 and PS3 in Japan than on Wii...
Bad voicework aside I'm still looking forward to this. Summer's a dull time without a JRPG to help pass things by anyway.

To be fair NMH was censored in it's Japanese release which might have lost some potential sales.

I think the PS3 port still is, while the Xbox 360 port is the only version that isn't (since there the user base doesn't care about Cero Z ratings which can't be promoted and openly sold).

Ouch. As a translator, I'm not sure there are more painful words than "lifeless" or "clinical." And certainly as a player it doesn't make me want to open up my wallet.

Having played Muramasa, the translation text is indeed clinical and sterile. While it does get the absolute gist of the dialogue, it's so inadequate and missing so much flavour it was absurd. There's something wrong when a good 30 seconds of voiced dialogue was summarised into a 6 second line. They ignored the stylistic and tonal features of the language used in the game. Momohime barely reads any different between her two 'personalities' with two very distinctly different attitudes and style. I'm actually glad they didn't bother dubbing the game since I would had missed a lot of the characterisation because the text was just so bland. And I would had missed Sawashiro Miyuki's performance.
I'm actually a bit annoyed I decided to play Momohime's route first because Kisuke's story is so.... snore...

I might make a quick recording to show the glaring difference between the text and the voiced dialogue when I dig out the drivers to my capture card.

I just can't believe that's a finished product... DO PEOPLE NOT HAVE EARS! I'm serious that's ridiculous. I could barely keep any semblance of a straight face while watching that. I need to play mass effect NOW!

Ignition... Thank you for butchering one of my most antecipated games (NOT)

These guys shouldn't be in the business, and I won't support their efforts when they're showering me with "this". kthnxbye.

It's a shame because the game is really good too, considering finishing it in Japanese now.

L'Arc's voice is growing on me, better than Ryfia and Alf.

Isn't nearly as bad as the original videos, but I still don't like the VAs.
