Okay.  I have some stuff going on with me but since I'm usually the guy starting the annual April's Fool topic on what craziness that happened, I'll do it anyway (besides, I am the one interested in this craziness, especially for the ridiculous stuff).

Besides, at least I got a starter here.

Apparently, Ubisoft of Japan got their Splinter Cell Conviction site invaded by Rabbids and somehow Rabbids are now tied in with Conviction.  Also, Conviction is "Only for Xbax 360", not Xbox 360.  Great!  I have an Xbox, not an Xbax!

And I certainly did not remember that Rabbid in that scene when I played the demo.

Okay!  Give me something to get me back up!

Apparently, Snake is taking lessons from Altair and Ezio.

Heh.  I bet he's taking lessons from Altair and Ezio so that he can get back at Sam Fisher!  I mean, Solid Snake and Sam Fisher has been at each other's neck last console generation.  (And I had a feeling I was going to see Metal Gear-related mischief and even something Assassin's Creed related on top of it)

Man, Kojima must love making April Fools mischief with the Assassin's Creed team.  Of course, I was expecting him to ask at the end, "Did you like it?"

Considering how rabid the fanbase gets over this, I wouldn't blame them for using this as a prank.  I mean...the fanbase did manage to anger me enough last year to become one of them...to the EXTREME!

If it makes you feel better, my Tales-related April Fools joke I would have done if I had the skill would have been much crueler.  A fake scan announcing Tales of Vesperia for PC!  Even more stuff than the PS3 version, more side quests, true 1080p at 60FPS and yeah, we'd probably leave it open for costume mods* (but I don't think they'll announce it upfront or the community will find a way).  That's right!  Namco suffers from George Lucas syndrome (i.e. they never feel their work is ever finished)!  The PS3 version was also a beta!  Well, at least if I was actually able to pull off an April Fools joke this year.  (Though they'll be more elaborate stuff to it than this paragraph describes)

*Okay, this one was just my excuse to be able to see Raven dressed like Frank West from Dead Rising.

A third Mystic Arte for everyone as well? Tongue Repede has a bigger role in the story?

Why yes!  They're actually planning to pander to the Ristelle worshippers since they're convinced Rita and Estelle are more than just friends!  They're getting a tag team Mystic Arte the same way Yuri and Flynn did!

Oh yeah, and not only is Repede getting a bigger role, they will also cover more of Rita's background!

(You responded, and I just had to make improv responses)

Wow!  I'm not even a fan of Invader Zim but that was probably the craziest mash up I've seen.  Yeah, can Zim even handle Haruhi Suzumiya?

Oh yeah, and RPGamer's Tales-related gag is really getting people angry.  Now I know they really can't take a joke.  I actually registered on RPGamer's forum to give a little, "Bravo" post.  Now I'd hate to see them deal with an episode of South Park if they did something like that to them (or if I actually did go through with the Tales of Vesperia PC prank).

No wonder I find myself under the target of the Joker's "Why so serious" line.  They annoy me to the point that they get me to be one of them, even if it goes against my morals.  Well, at least I'm expecting Batman: Arkham Asylum from Gamefly in the mail and since I went with the PS3 version here, I can just goof off on the challenge map as the Joker because this whole situation is making me feel like The Joker.

(You know what?  I think I'll bench my randomizing Mint avatar for a week and replace it with the Joker.)

Cless Aileron, the choice for the true non-beta version of Vesperia is obvious.
