I have it and so far the graphics are stunning visally; But for some reason it seem there is little fighting and rather more of running across the wall, jumping and grabbing on stuff, climbing upside down, and many other confusing obstical that when you think your stuck you just fluke it like most of the Prince of Persia games. But I dunno I haven't gotten too far into the game but hope for more fighting and less traveling :sigh:

The old Prince of Persia on the SNES (and the best one in my opinion) was more about traveling and solving puzzles/escaping traps than fighting.

Maybe they are going back to their roots. In my opinion, that's awesome.

Extremely good ign video review of the new Prince of Persia here:
http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/934/934014p1.html

I bought the game and played through about an hour of it and agree with their verdict: Combat has been scaled back (in that there's less of it, not that it's less complex or less rewarding, because it's still great), and so has difficulty (but only in that you literally can't die, since Elika will always save you at the last second), but what is left is a very calming, flowing, almost artistic experience... Also, Elika is mad hot.

Thats somewhat relieving imo; I found the Prince of Persia on ps2/gc(iirc) was almost too difficult to enjoy that amazing battling system and venturing system. And off of what little I've seen from it, it looks really enjoyable. Hopefully I can get back into PoP.
