Sooooo.. if needed I could just add a third line to any description (with a 25 character limit)? I tried to keep everything I did to 2 lines/40 characters.. but there were maybe two or three of the bows that might have benefited from a tad bit of extra space (I did manage without, if it's better that way).

Anyway, I'd like to claim dibs on weapons and accessories if possible.. or at least all the weapons. It was certainly a enjoyable way to fill some of my downtime here on the job.

Okay, I'm not positive here. These say they're used for 'synthesis'. From the names, I assume they're talking about cooking, but someone who knows Destiny 2 straighten me out if I'm wrong.

i'm guessing it's saying your "total" skill level is increased?

also, attention, translators of equipment... just to make sure, you know that equipment towards the top of their respective lists tend to be "unique" items, sometimes possibly ultimate items, right? like, towards the top of the swords list, right after the end of the list of whatever came before swords, is where these unique items would be. if you've played diablo/diablo 2, unique items work just like in that... i'd think that the unique items gotten later in the game (which would be at the very top) should be treated as such (like the pure bright (sword), or stormbringer (sword), or whatever). right after the end of the unique list comes the "best" of the non-unique items, like the Grimm equipment. i guess those should sound fairly exceptional, too? certainly more so than the items that are gotten early in the game, but happen to be unique, i'd say.

just wanted to bring it up, because the Kongourakan (dagger) looked like it might have a slightly plain seeming description... not sure if it's supposed to be judas's best dagger, or if daggers can even BE slotted/unique, or what, though... or if the description is really intended to be glitzy or not.

I have previously pointed out both times when I came across something that I could not translate and I also specifically pointed out in the dagger section that they (referring to the descriptions) were boring.

The first part essentially says "Functional with no uselessness." The second part in quotes is essentially "Fortitude and Vigor!" (one site gave "Simple and Sturdy" which is what I ran with). Of course, the job is to then take what's given in Japanese and make it sound good in English while adhering to the space restrictions. Admittedly, the second line may be translated differently and probably better, but there's really nothing "ultimate" or "extreme" or whatever it was you were expecting in it.

Actually, looking at it now with a full night's sleep (and coffee in my system).. throwing "Testicular Fortitude!" in place of what's in quotes in Japanese could be pretty funny.

Cless, I know you said you were already inserting things so I wanted to go over a couple of things with you. Right now I'm running through these providing mostly direct translations.. I'm considering these kind of a "first draft" and would like to run through them once finished for clean up work.. and possibly a little bit of coloring. Are you wanting things posted as "final" or is it okay to "update" a few things later on?

I would definitely like to add some spice to some of the more mundane descriptions.. as I'm not sure what you'll deem acceptable or not I'll probably provide the direct translation (commented out) followed by the cooked description so you can easily pick and choose if some of my color commentary doesn't work for you.
